Loved your video. It was so calming. It was so great that you took your time with every shot and kept the soundtrack authentic, rather than placing music over the top. I love Aberdeen and this allows me to be there when I can't be there. Thank you
Thanks Alan, a very appreciated comment, I'm only sorry that I didn't film more, unfortunately I was thwarted by the Aberdeen fog! I will be back at some point though.
Maybe next time include the Reference and the central library, St. Marks, and the theatre, all next to each other. Across from that you have The Wallace monument, Union terrace gardens(whats left of it), and the Triple Kirks building, which is next to Robert Gordons. Grateful, for your effort.
Thanks for the comment, I only had a couple of hours to film due to fog and rain, but I'll be sure to include those things on my next visit, hopefully later this year.
When I was born in Aberdeen, Marsichal College, Marsichal Street and all the other "Marsichals" you showed were spelled Marischal College etc., etc., etc. They were still spelled that way (Marischal) when I moved north about twenty-five years later. When did they change the spelling?
Seems to be a very clean and elegant city, and calm as well. At 12:45 this is magnificient. Thank you for that video. Did you publish one on Inverness?
Good timing for your film, before the biggest psy op in World.. Sadly Aberdeen has no heart or life in the City since Union Street was closed to traffic, for a cold. Nothing to see on Union Street now except empty shops, vape & coffee shops. Even Union Terrace Gardens been ruined. Aberdeen looks more glamorous in past films & old photographs than the mess the Council have made of it over past 15years. Now they want to ruin the beach front, what an afront! Sad, as Aberdeen was once a bustling, busy City with much to offer. Decay & pot holes taken over.
My home town. Love you and miss you. I was last there in 2019, now I can't get back. Thanks for sharing this. Xx
Missing Aberdeen. I stayed there for four years.

Keep doing more Aberdeen, and the rest of Scotland.
I will do when I’m travelling again.
I was there a month before you. Great town.

I love Aberdeen. I lived there between 1996 and 2000.
Great video, any country side video on Aberdeen? Its a beautiful environment.
Thanks for the comment, at the minute I don’t have that, but when I next return I will film more and include some countryside.
I'd love to visit some day. A lot of my ancestors came from this town
Thanks
Awesome

It seems that the spelling changed on the day that I was editing the film. My mistake, apologies to the good people of Aberdeen!
Very nice!
My old regiment,Aberdeen looked peaceful 🤯

No I haven’t been there with my video camera yet, I will get there at some point though.
No, more cold, grey and dirty!

The best thing about Aberdeen was the birth of The Shamen...
