I'm a Dawgs fan, and me personally I don't blame him. It's to much pressure on him to try to live up and play to the UGA standards. Not saying he isn't capable, but I don't think he wants to wait his Jr or Sr year to start. He can go in at Nebraska and maybe start his FR. He first committed to Ohio State then left his H.S. in Arizona to go play at a H.S. in Georgia because he changed his mind and committed to the University of Georgia and then changed his mind again and is now going to Nebraska??? This kid is a head case and will be in the portal 2 or 3 more times before it is all done. My guess is when things get tough he will go back in Arizona in a couple years and end up at either Arizona State or University of Arizona.
Nebraska was his 1st choice but frost kept blowing him off or he would've been committed

Look at previous 5*QB recruits, the majority of them end up transferring after a year or two.
Sooner if they have to compete for the job instead of it being handed to them.

@@Shibdefendhence why they needed a QB cause the QB position was a big reason their offense had issues this year now Nebraska needs to make sure they continue to build around him. Rhule has won everywhere he's gone, he didn't go to a bowl right away at Temple or Baylor either. Majority of his roster this year was still Frosts players. It took Temple and Baylor a few years for them to take the jump that made them one of the best teams in their conferences. It makes sense to go to a place like Nebraska cause he's just gonna be sitting around in a room with other 5 stars needing to wait to start if he was at Georgia. This way he can play right away.
@@Shibdefend How about taking a near death 45 scholarship Baylor roster (that's right, only 45 scholarship players on campus when he arrived), and within 3 years have them ranked 7th in the nation and losing in OT to Oklahoma in the B1G 12 Championship game.
We lost 8 of our 11 starters on offense due to injury this season, so I'm pretty sure that played a pretty significant role, you blathering yokel.

Why would he leave? He'll have 3 or 4 Top 100 players to throw to next year at Nebraska. Two Top 2 TEs in their classes, and a slew of 4-Star WRs. 3 WRs that run in the 10.4s or better. They are all just going to be young.

Talk about not giving up on a recruit, it certainly helps when his family is gaga for Cornhuskers. I can imagine it now, the family knows too much pressure will assure the son doesn't go there and then comes the big head coach home visit 10 days ago and the Dad's plan goes into action. He brings up some hypotheticals that he'd been keeping close to his vest for just such a moment. The parents had a huge task! To get their son to ignore all the best colleges out to get him to finish by signing with the lowly Cornhuskers, a school with a strong pedigree but No current "game". Everyone wants to believe they are special and part of the sale would be that Dylan would lead Nebraska back to the top and if he went with Ga. he wouldn't get near the credit besides possibly riding the bench the first two years

As a Husker fan, I can't disagree with your post. We needed this commitment much more than Georgia did. You'll always have great recruiting classes, because you have tons of kids in your backyard.
This is a huge upgrade in our QB room. If we had a decent QB this year, we likely win 9 or 10 games, beating Minnesota, Michigan State, Maryland, Wisconsin, and Iowa. This is an immediate increase in talent, and he is coming to Lincoln in January.
It's not even that serious, his family simply played the best Hand that was dealt to him. Most people don't even remember a Stetson Bennett..

Marcus Lattimore signed with SC because he wanted to be the guy from day one and not share too many snaps and was so good that spurrier went from slinging the ball to a more run oriented offense and Lattimore got his knee destroyed and never had a NFL career. You only have so many plays in you so you should want to share playing time , NFL scouts will still find you

This isn't a draft......he is very good. I have seen him play. Problem for him will be Nebraska's oline isn't going to be as good or developed as the oline he would have played behind at UGA. Rhule is playing catch up. Dylan didn't want to sit behind 2 other qbs and have to wait to play in year 3. With Beck coming back and Stockton right behind Beck, Ryiola wouldn't have started until his Junior year. I am saying this with zero animosity as I truly hopes he does well and succeeds wherever he plays. He has always been a very respectful young man from everything I have seen.
