Idk wtf happened to fix it, all I did was follow what you did step by step (the end product looks just the same as the starting product) but somehow it fixed the problem 😂 thanks man
My understanding is the anti reverse just getting to tight, and going in there allows it to loosen back up so there it works agian. I've now caught roughly 30 bass on it and a 8 pound catfish on the very reel I fixxed in this video. I am confident that this fix is viable and will hold up for at least awhile, and if it breaks agian I wouldn't be sure to say the fix was faulty or the reel is faulty, because this sipping reel I'm this video was only 35 dollars online.
It's more likely that it just needs a good cleaning. The gobs of grease aren't doing the reel any favors and will hold dirt that causes the mechanism to stick, especially if it hasn't been used for awhile (stored in a garage all winter, for example). They like just a minimal amount of lube.
can you do okuma revenger rv25 reverse fix? I can not the life out of me fixing the reverse being broken, I only used it a couple of times but man it suck..

I don't know, I will say after awhile it may start to slip on and off agian, if you go back in and do it agian it goes back to good
