Interesting video seeing first hand the damage the sea water did. That nitro fuel looks to have gelled up in the crankcase like diesel does in fuel tanks. Looking forward to you getting it going again!
hey bro! how you been! yep, that was some salt water gel goo. I left the water in there for exactly 2 days so we can all see hoe it actually gets. Working o the second part video now, I just did 2 full oven cycles.
Lesson learned. Beach is a no no if you want your cars/trucks to last long term. Even just the sand and dried salt in the sand are deadly for RC. I would just avoid that location all together.

hey buddy! thanks for watching. This pull start is clearly not an original OS pull start, this is why it does not fit perfectly. It's a Force Engines Pullstart, it works fine.
hey my dude! It's really best to visually inspect it if you get a chance to remove the engine. But you will know when the springs get weak or break because your RC will always have the clutch engaged, even during a normal idle. That will be most obvious. You can also have clutch shoe wear, which won't be as obvious until it just does not engage correctly and cause severe slipping. For shoes will make it seem like your slipper is loose. Generally these are the 2 cases to look for. Which situation do you have?
the slipping is a good symptom of Clutch problems. The only way to fully know is to remove the clutch bell and look at it. It could honestly be a bunch of other things, once you eliminate that. It could be a cross pin that came out of a driveshaft or axle that is rubbing as it spins, could be a diff, so many possible reasons. You gotta do process of elimination. Remove the engine and see if the noise is still there as you roll the truck.
hybrid32494 the noise is coming from the clutch area...when I roll it back it makes that grinding noise ...it’s crazy when I roll it forward it’s smooth 🤔
hey bro! I it's ok, the engine was fixed, did you see the playlist videos? I baked it in the oven. These videos take me a long time to make and edit, I don't just throw anything together and make my audience suffer while they watch unrelated nonsense. LOL. Anyway, the Revo Survivor edition make it out ok, it was interesting to see what happens after only 2 days. Considering I have to work and maintain a fleet of over 20-30 Nitro Cars and Gas RCs and still have a full time day job, this is the best I could do.
@@hybrid32494 I know this was mainly for videos but just in case this ever happens again (I really hope it doesn't). Pull the glow plug and FLOOD the thing with fuel (remove the pressure line from the exhaust and blow in there a bit, maybe even get some in through the glow plug hole) then attempt to start it without the glow plug (careful, fuel and water will spray everywhere), make sure you cycle a good amount of fuel through it in this manner. That way you're replacing the vast majority of water with fuel+oil, it'd still be best to give it a complete teardown afterwards, but you'll have more time before it'll seize (if at all).
hey bro! Ideally that would be the best thing to do. At this point I m down to the block and the clutch assembly. Engine just came out of the oven, will be putting in back together in the next video and we will see.
hey buddy! are yo asking me if an e-maxx trans can with with a nitro motor? Theoretically yes it can, but you will need to make heavy and extensive mods to make it happen, no point in that at all. Just run a regular t-maxx trans, otherwise you will have issues with setting up the proper brake setup.

hybrid32494 the noise is coming from the clutch area...when I roll it back it makes that grinding noise ...it’s crazy when I roll it forward it’s smooth 🤔
@@malo_2139 had the same with my lst years back. Clutch spring wore coming through the shoes. That was making the noise. Way to far gone haha
The piston could be seized to the sleeve that the piston ring got rusted
Since it’s all apart you might as well rebuild it
Both buggies have different Engines I mean
you had me hooked till you let your nitro engine sit for two days with salt water in it.
Front bearings needs to clean or replaced but wd40 is not good for the bearing seals.
Nitro saltwater and aluminum and you get jello
Nitro Goo , lol :)
ooooooooooh boy.......take it down to its last screw, any other solution is careless.
hey bro! Ideally that would be the best thing to do. At this point I m down to the block and the clutch assembly. Engine just came out of the oven, will be putting in back together in the next video and we will see.
@@hybrid32494 i have been quiet in nitro for almost 5 months... Life, life. Trying to get back into it but shit like corona keeps on happening.
AllAboutNitro i hear u dude! We gotta start building nitro kits. I recently baught a nitro dragster kit. Going to unveil it soon. Goota keep occupied
Can emacs transmission work with gas nitrogen gas
hey buddy! are yo asking me if an e-maxx trans can with with a nitro motor? Theoretically yes it can, but you will need to make heavy and extensive mods to make it happen, no point in that at all. Just run a regular t-maxx trans, otherwise you will have issues with setting up the proper brake setup.
Oof
Usually in these cases…dump all in water, tooth brush, dry, oil…reassemble.🔦
Bent conrod?!
Should have opened it right away than let it sit there
You better to change your front bearing! Wash your hands and stay inside! !😷🤧😷🤧🤕
