*Please leave a like 👍 + Subscribe if you're new and enjoyed the video!* ❤ Who/what do you think is to blame for Angel Di Maria’s failed time at Manchester United🤔💭👇
The burglary was a valid reason for him to leave, as his family's safety is the most important thing. However, there's no doubt he could have handled the situation better regarding his transfer to PSG, so I understand why United fans don't like him. Great video!
I get that is a valid reason to leave but he's earning millions, he could've just hired security or better alarm system to avoid all that crap. I mean he's not the only south american playing in the premier league. Its just that he didnt want to go to United in the first place.....
It was fake, it never happened. He made it all up to force the move to PSG. I used to live not to far from where he lived and know people in the area. There was a footpath at the back of his yard that leads to the local village and he turned up the sensitivity on his automatic security light so it went off every time someone used the path, then claimed the light going off all the time was proof of trespasser’s. The police investigation found no evidence that anyone had ever illegally entered his property
I understand why both parts dislike each other, they just weren't a match. It happens. But also I believe that if only he had a different coach, the entire situation could've been different. It's kinda crazy how that one fact could've changed everything
Lvg also doesn't like Toni Kroos which seems nuts to me. Why does he insist on playing people out of position? Why did he complain about Di María in the press conferences? But then after Di María left, he complains that he needs another player of Di María's caliber?
@dronesclubhighjinks over here we always focused on the way he treated argies, never knew he didn't like Kroos but it doesn't surprise me, man seems allergic to having a functional midfield
Every brazilian too. Rivaldo hates him and Lúcio celebrated the 2010 UCL as a vengeance after Van Gaal kick him out of Bayern. Rafael, Geovani...others brazilians also had problem with him.
@@agustintrivino9365 I wonder if it has anything to do with the Argentina Netherlands rivalry from past world cups. The channel “Nabhuto” made a video about this with the title “the football rivalry that makes no sense“ posted October 7, 2024. But I see somebody else replied here saying LVG also doesn’t like Brazilians. It seems a lot of these managers have very big egos and no sense of humour. Anybody who has an automatic negative reaction to a player just because of the country the player is from has got some serious personal problems. Such a person does not deserve respect.
He never wanted to come to United. He and his wife thought they were going to PSG and were never happy being in Manchester. His mind and heart were at PSG.
Thank you for writing this comment! The fans who hate seem rather simple minded. Di María and his wife needed more support. It seems he was trying his best. It wasn't his fault he was injured. And why did lvg complain about him in press conferences, not acknowledge what he did well, and also play him out of position? It's almost like he wanted Di María to fail.
Let me say this. Di Maria didn't fail at Manchester United, Manchester United failed Di Maria. I blame LVG for wasting Di Maria as a second striker and playing him out of his position. Yes Di Maria handled the PSG transfer poorly but I don't blame him for leaving Manchester United since he was in shock for the house robbery and LVG played him out of position. Disappointing signing no doubt but no ways a flop.
Didnt wanna leave real, had his injury mismanaged, played out of position by the manager and had his family scared by people trying to break into his house. Can't blame him.
Van Gaal has always had this history with Argentinians. First the former Argentina Captain. Then Di Maria. There's a reason Messi did his celebration against him during the WC.
Adding to the comment, the Messi celebration was because of Riquelme, a popular Argentine player, wich is said Van Gaal since the first moment told him he didn't want him in Barcelona and that he should be looking for a new club, playing him out of position proving he clearely didn't like him, and overall, making his Barcelona stay hell, Riquelme's celebration was called ''topo gigio'', wich is the celebration Messi did against Van Gaal, tying the whole thing together
Maybe it was actually because Van Gaal made a comment before the game about how, and I'm paraphrasing here, Argentina as a team were more than just Messi.
Van Gaal has an issue with many non European players He also chased Rivaldo out of Barcelona right after a Ballon D'Or campaign, he squandered Riquelme and Saviola careers and there are many more instances

@@hnnsy No, it was definitely Riquelme. Messi doesn't take that as an insult. An insult would be to say the Argentina team is nothing without Messi. Also Messi stated in an interview that was specifically why he did it. He was very close to the old Argentinian Captain.
I'm disappointed with the di Maria saga, rather than outright hate the guy. The 'not being on the plane' and seemingly unprofessional way the PSG transfer was conducted bothered me the most out of everything
I don't blame the guy because if a player feels like the environment is not safe for their family, he will feel unsettled. And the Madrid transfer was forced... He started so well and then after he got injured, that's where it went downhill. So Foreign players especially from South America get unsettled easily, they will quickly ask for a transfer.
100% agree with you. This transfer was destined to fail from the get go. As a United fan I'm sad it didn't work out as he's clearly a fantastic player (3rd most assists in the UCL of all time) but it was definitely in his best interest to leave the club, especially for his family's sake.
I actually always thought he was more of a disaster at ManU than he actually seems to have been. Having scored three goals and assisting ten, that's not bad considering all the bs LvG put him through.
When researching for this video and I found saw he had 15 G/A I was genuinely so surprised. The way some people describe his time at United on the pitch you’d think he was the original Antony dos Santos
Same with Carlo Anceloti.. his house in Liverpool was burgled with his family in .. the next week Carlo was off .. I know it was a Madrid offer but all seems a bit suss
This saga was entirely Van Gaal's fault. Why do you acquire one best wingers at the time and then play him everywhere but his best position. Overall under Van Gaal United played horrible football.
16:34 "and he won't be winning trophies anymore" Di Maria laughing with his World Cup while yanited struggle to win the Carabao Cup while being 12th in the league 😂😂😂
Di Maria's legacy is basically as good as Zidane's is, he's a generational talent only overshadowed by Messi in terms of talent on the Argentinian national team. He's won all the big titles out there, has scored in multiple finals and big performances. Unbelievable creative stats. One of my favourite players
World Cup, 2 Copa America, Olympic gold, 2 Champions League, 2 La Liga, 5 Ligue 1, 2 Primeira Liga etc etc. But was failure because he won nothing at Manu.

Hate him all you want, but the man is still scoring hat-tricks for Benfica and retired from the Argentina squad as a World and Continental champion, having scored a goal in every final he won for his country (Olympic gold, Copa America, Finalissima/CONMEBOL-UEFA Cup of Champions, and World Cup). Many of us suspect that if he hadn't been benched in 2014 due to injury, Argentina could have ended the trophy drought then; and at the moment, he has left a gaping hole in Argentina's left side that Garnacho just can't fill.
Di Maria always played world class except in ManU. After Maguire and Anthony all questions should be answered. The decline began with an overaged Team during Fergusons retirement. Many Players still loose their class there.

I’m not sure you can truly refer to a bunch of people on the interest as a proper community, but to the extent there is I agree. These people running TH-cam channels are ultimately entertainers. Their job is to be hateful and over the top, otherwise they don’t get those numbers of people tuning in. Best just trying to ignore it. It’s one of the reasons I deleted twitter recently.
Angel Di Maria is absolute quality! Man utd really messed up not building a team around him. This guy played a massive part for Argentina & Messi to win the world cup. He is always one player I use to look forward to watching as a football fan, especially during the world cups.
From a football fan not too familar with what happened back then, based on this video, it sure as hell seems like Man Utd let him down big time and that he was completly justified in hatred towards the club.
I was never against him leaving the club, seemed like a fair reason why he did because that's normal in football but his hatred for LvG ideas or philosophy resulted in him talking shit about United overall after he left made him far worse than it should have been he couldn't separate LVG and Manchester United... No wonder he didn't even play long for a club like Madrid.
i am glad he left man utd even reaching a UCL final with PSG is 100 times better than rotting at man utd we cleraly have seen how talents ruin themselves at man utd. had he stayed he may have never had those moments with the NT in copa america 2021 and FIFA WC 2022
I have supported MUFC since the 1970s growing up in a English town full of LFC supporters. I do not hate Angel though. Life is too short for hating somebody or something forever. It gets in the way of being happy. He kept digging himself deeper into a hole by talking about MUFC. Sometimes it's best to say nothing and just get on with your life. That's too short for hating except for LFC. Gooners too. I have not let that one go and probably never will. City are not worth the effort of hating though. Their golden stage coach will turn back into a pumpkin sooner or later.
Both club and player are to blame. I'd argue the club is more in the wrong though. LVG playing him out of position was a brain-dead move and constantly nagging about his mistakes whilst he was having a good game was equally as stupid. Di Maria went about leaving the club the wrong way though, I'm a United fan and I do feel like Di Maria did us dirty. We obviously wanted to keep a player of that calibre at the club, and if he wanted to go, fine. But he could've went about it a lot better. Also, the whole house being broken into thing... yeah, I get that. Any United fan saying that isn't enough reason to leave are obviously viewing it in a very narrow minded way. He had a young daughter and wife, it was a horrible situation that would unnerve any man. So I do understand that being one reason for his move, but again, could've went about the whole ordeal in a much better way.
The burglary was fake. I know people who lived in the same area, at the same time and he faked it all to force a move to PSG. The police investigation was dropped after it was proven fake. The only reason he signed for United was because PSG had a transfer embargo so couldn’t sign him but he had to leave Real Madrid, so he moved to United, then forced a move as soon as the embargo was lifted.
Man united fans are actually the worst. How do you hate every single player you get. It’s like you just want to find any reason to destroy your own players.
Journalists doing analysis and then coming with a conclusion about "statistically" , and when Van Gaal who is capable of real football analysis does not listen he is stubborn? This is exactly the kind of nonsense that has beeen turning Utd in a midtable club. They boss is the boss, and does not have to compromise and should certainly not listen to people who don't understand football. There are people who do the work and there are spectators. When the latter are allowed to interfere with work, for example by pressuring to sack managers, capable people can't do their jobs.
As a neutral you can’t call these loud fans the majority. They are just like barking dogs. Think most United fans were not happy about him leaving but could understand it.
No one can reach previous heights from a different club in Manchester united 😂. When you don't have an excellent team to support you, you get mediocre performances.

These people running TH-cam channels are ultimately entertainers. Their job is to be hateful and over the top, otherwise they don’t get those numbers of people tuning in.
Best just trying to ignore it. It’s one of the reasons I deleted twitter recently.
That sums up Argentina’s fan base perfectly, truly disgraceful bunch.
No wonder he didn't even play long for a club like Madrid.
they deserve player like GOAT ANTONY.
Di Maria is too good for these sore losers.
He came just at the wrong time thats all. He's one of the few United players the past decade who were good enough to wear the shirt honestly.
You clearly don't know United's history do you lol !
@@rael1999 lmao I'm not interested
The true hero of Argentina’s Copa America and World Cup…. See how they are doing after he retired. Time will make him justice.
Tbh, Van Gaal ruined him. He was giving assist by assist. He was on the verge on being a new no.7 legend.
As a United fan, we don’t even hate Di Maria. I’m glad he got out given the state of our club and spending spree.
i am glad he left man utd even reaching a UCL final with PSG is 100 times better than rotting at man utd we cleraly have seen how talents ruin themselves at man utd. had he stayed he may have never had those moments with the NT in copa america 2021 and FIFA WC 2022
Lol.
i felt for him after the robbery etc... but yeah he's been really abusive towards us so now i just ignore him
I have supported MUFC since the 1970s growing up in a English town full of LFC supporters.
Come on, zirkee, hojlund, Anthony and mount ste our eorst tranfers
He was the most unfairly treated at Utd then.
Shaw is a LB not a wing back sure
" he will not be winning trophies any more" 😂
The burglary was fake.
You described everything so nicely, so detailed and i got into flow and couldn't realise 22 minutes had already pass ! great content, keep it up bro.
Thank you so much mate, comments like this is what motivated me to keep going❤️
LVG had rooney RVP and falcao and he puts di maria at striker??? On a era when most teams were playing one striker??
Man united fans are actually the worst. How do you hate every single player you get. It’s like you just want to find any reason to destroy your own players.
Di Maria... worst ever signing? Have you not heard of £85 million Antony??
Louis Van Gaal was on serious Drugs at United
This is epl not ever players succeed
Ten Hag was the worst signing in history though
Shame on united now he's won everything World Cup Copa America
Di Maria is one of the best players ever. United lost.
Man i hate dimaria and he was a great player
New vid lets go
I just realized that all your videos are Manchester United related. Are you are Man Utd fan?
Yes I am, but I’m also going to make non-Manchester United related videos in the future! If you have any suggestions let me know :)
Only United haters on this page
