The fact that throughout the entire call jar keeps mentioning "but they were so big" and "but I'm not as big as them" just says all that he really cares about. He DOESNT see people as people, he looks at people and sees sub count, and that tells him how to treat them.
In hindsight, this call was a clear JAR W. Imagine getting "called out" by a canceled geriatric "lion" and coming out with the unconditional respect of the real commentary community...

Although I personally am not subscribed to Lio anymore, Lio's cancellation doesn't mean his word shouldn't hold any worth. He has only proven to be honest in the past, and it's only fair to believe this trait hasn't changed. As someone who was groomed by someone with a simular age gap to synni and eno, hearing JAR say Eno was "the one who was sexual first" made me VIOLENTLY ill. Eno did not deserve to be called any less of a victim because "Synni is straight" "Synni didn't want to date them" "Synni didn't mean to", Synni still groomed them and deserves to be called out. I feel like this is a mask off moment and I'm glad other people are starting to realize JAR isn't a good person. Holy shit

As a former fan of JAR's, all I can say is this. All of this draws parallels to the story of Icarus, where the end result would see him getting burned by the sun simply for flying too close, and he was told on numerous occasions that he was going to end up getting fried one day. Unfortunately transactional “friendships” are extremely common online. I have basically no real friends, only two really. We talk like once a weeks sometimes. I feel like growing up terminally online (started at 12), I really grew to see these “friendships” as normal, so I can really empathize with yah on this one. I thought Lio was exaggerating a tad about the call between JAR and Synni being disgusting. I've been trying to watch the call and it is, in fact, unironically disgusting. So many jaw dropping moments. Every time he said "coom" I died a little bit.

At first, I was going to be disappointed to see one of these types of videos from you again after wanted to change and break away from it, but I wanted to give it a chance and I'm glad I took it. I said it as much when Jar was letting Zaid/MissAnthroPony in his videos. I literally stated how this isn't a good idea, and if anything were to happen for he does, that should only fall on him. (Reffering to JAR to those who don't get it) I didn't mind much about re-upload his videos. That's one thing. Having him basically make videos is another.

Because what he went through and what he experienced i firmly believe that he seems himself as someone who was in such a mighty status believing he’s able to help those who he deemed in the same situation as he was years ago. But what its infuriating is that he saw the coyote shit, he lived the spoctor and peaches villainous arc, he pointed out how Prison-mate Luke was acting and using the screenshots to twist shit, hell he even was there reading the screenshots that got leaked by Atari, how snaky Pentagone and Stories were behind close doors, he knew that just glazing over the docs/evidence is not enough. And i know he is in the spectrum, i understand that his understanding of social cues is not quite there yet and it might never be if we are honest. But he knows that he should keep some level of professionalism and not joke-flirty to someone who is in hot water, specially if there are allegations AND PROOF of sexual misconduct with minors in repeated occasions. I really don’t believe he didn’t mean ill will, but like i said many times before the method, the everything wasn’t it. He needs to keep in check his ego and open his ears and take in consideration others concern about his future plans.

Well, hear it from a fan of JAR since 2016. He was my second favorite TH-camr because he had conservative views while also being a nerdy guy and not some old Gen type. He royally messed up this time and I mainly attribute this to incompetence. Right now I do not know how I should feel until what JAR does after this, if he takes Lio's advice, then he can redeem himself in my eyes.

As a fellow trans person, I appreciate you calling him out on that repost. He also sometimes made odd jokes in his videos, and I wondered if it was overeacting to be uncomfortable with those jokes. I get that people make the jokes a lot and way too often, but it feels wrong for somebody who isn't in the space to be the one making the punchlines. I hope that he learns and grows at some point, though.

I haven't been to this channel for a long time, and I've grown very critical of you, Lio. However, I am glad that you are working on yourself. As bad as many of your past actions have been, I do hope you find the means to better yourself and that you can stick to doing the content that actually brings your joy. That being said, I believe you gave Kumo too much credit regarding his involvement in this situation. He should not have been involved with this situation at all. Regardless of his intent, which I don't believe was as good as you do, his impact matters more. What happened was that he got played and made an ass of himself. I am normally open to people changing for the better, but skirting around with someone like Synni was the same thing as JAR: He shot his career, or what little there was, in the foot. It would appear he's deleted his channel, and it's probably best he stays away. As a side note, I don't believe JAR was being entirely honest with you in this call. The whole reasoning for Spoctor, I believe, is because JAR doesn't actually stand by what he says or has any convictions of his own. Like you said, he will wait until a winning side presents itself before jumping in to provide his "perspective" and pretend it was correct all along. He's a snake in the grass, plain and simple. It's fortunate that he finally got caught, and people will be looking into him more closely. Maybe then he'll finally learn something. I hope you find the help you need in any case.

I generally like to let these sorts of things cook. But I just got to the part where JAR just said he can't afford therapy. If you're in the US there are non profit therapy organizations or counselling, especially if you're in a metropolitan area. True they won't be at the same level of quality that say one you pay through insurance or out of pocket for but if you NEED to talk to someone it's better than nothing. Also most employers are going to have some sort of counseling services or a like care bridge if they don't have a counsellor on hand they can look up non profit in your area. Don't think that just because your financially not well off that you have to suck it up alone. There's help out there it's just a lil tricky to find sometimes. So to you, rando reading this, if you need help please know its out there. You are worth the help and you don't have to be a millionaire to receive it.

Anyway, I know this was kinda a small thing compared to JAR defending a groomer thing, but I would like to clarify that I did share the alluded to call with the likes of LinLin and MaliMalware, they were directly involved in the situation, and I felt like they should've known what JAR was saying about them, and JAR also knew I was going to do that within the call, hell, JAR kinda alluded to the fact he was going to share his side of the call with someone too, so... I didn't see it as any issue. If he didn't want me to share it, he could've said not to. At this point, a few other people have now seen the call, ThatCreepyReading reached out to me a little bit ago, before this video, for context, and I wanted to be transparent, so I passed it to him, which then was followed by Harley getting a hold of it with my permission. Things are messy about that call at this point, but as far as things are concerned, to my knowledge, that situation is long since over anyway. JAR never followed up on it, Lin never followed up on it, and I explained to JAR why I voiced in LinLin's video, understanding why he had issue with it, I don't remember if I said this in call, but if JAR is shown this, or JAR reads this, I am sorry, moreso now that I know sharing the call at all genuinely bothered you. Perhaps I did deserve it. I won't deny that, after all, I did downplay mine and others actions in the FCK, I did, accidentally or not, omit my involvement in the FCK, I did forget things in my spreadsheet, I did nothing in the server to stop something I absolutely should've spoken about, I couldn't get my story straight, I may have lied to people, I used one of the victims as a shield, and, according to my comments, I may have knowingly, and willingly, enabled grooming in the server. That's the reason I left, after all, I am a bad person, and while it doesn't mean much now, I'm sorry. With that said, seeing everything come from you, really is indicative of a much larger issue you face when it comes to social interactions; you and I talked things out, and I was still volunteering to be one of your editors when Lin's video came out, yet you saw everything I did as purely transactional, and you did not care about me as a person, by the sounds of it - that's how you treat everyone. As numbers you can add to yourself. That is my piece on the matter, perhaps I shouldn't, maybe this comment is a bad idea at the end of the day, but, wanted to get it off my chest. I'm going to... *TRY* to get back to non-existence, and focus on myself. Key word: "Try" - because good lord it feels like I haven't really left so much as just taken a hiatus, and it's beginning to become a bad itch to keep reappearing in the public like this, might bring it up with my therapist tomorrow. Sadly, JAR has met that same downfall with how he's handled pretty much every situation he's gotten into and refusing to listening to anyone's sound advice. Normally, I would like to see someone rise up again from a fall. But in JAR's case, I honestly don't know. What I *do* know is that he needs to get off the Internet for an extended amount of time to better himself, and to connect with real-life friends and do fun activities with them. That's bound to help him.
As much as I’m not a fan of your past actions, along with your methods this is- Honestly with you through and through on this, the way you spoke about your own adverse experiences made me sad. I’m a victim of grooming and other horrible forms of abuse. I’ve never felt so much second-hand anxiety in all of the interviews JARs had. It's painful to see him just dig a bigger hole for himself. Especially because he is defending something quite unforgivable, I can’t see myself being in his position and doing what he did and still shooting myself in the foot. I honestly don't understand how he could have messed up this badly, that video was insane. You would think that all of the past dramas in the community would prove to him that not every accusation is going to require his input, let alone defense, but I guess not.

Another point to the "and the 7 they/thems" joke-- even when trans people make it, it CAN be transphobic. There is a lot of infighting in queer communities. In particular to this conversation, there are groups of people who are "transmedicalists" and insist that in order to be trans, you need severe gender dysphoria and need to desire cosmetic surgery - often this argument is posed against nonbinary people because we don't fit neatly into the male-female umbrella. On another note, watching you put together models is so relaxing -- it makes me want to try it out myself, it looks like it's a nice way to unwind after work (as long as you don't lose a piece and drive yourself mad looking for it lol)

Truth be told, I didn't bother looking into how bad the Synni situation really was, and so when Jar made his video on the matter, I honestly thought he did due diligence because he did so well with Seththeprogrammer and Daft Pina. So it legitimately became more baffling how bad this video really was when I was watching others covering the situation. NGL, I felt pretty fucking stupid myself for assuming nothing was wrong when the video was made initially. But that's what happens when not following the story when one gets tired of having to hear these things again and again. (Yeah, I was watching the FCK videos and the sort and mentally exhausted me for a while, so obviously, I didn't bother checking these things out. Until TH-camrs I know brought them up.) Well then, with that being said. Time will tell how this will play out. What I find baffling is that JAR tends to like my comments even if I spend a good amount of time in some of them defending you, Lio. Because I can speak for myself and say, despite how many screw ups that happened with you. I can still see some admirable parts of you regardless. Because at the end of the day, as long as you didn't actually cause someone's actual death or any form of irreparable damage to an innocent bystander. Yet, you still feel bad for any mistakes that happened. That tells me more that improving and willingness to change from that is all that is needed. I'm glad to see you improving and getting the help you get, Lio. The past cannot be removed, but you can still learn from it and surround yourself with people at would care and love you as the person you are, and would help you change as well.
At first, I was going to be disappointed to see one of these types of videos from you again after wanted to change and break away from it, but I wanted to give it a chance and I'm glad I took it. I can tell you're changing and learning better from everything that happened and I'm glad you can finally focus on what you love instead of sacrificing your health over this stuff. While I still have a lot of mixed feelings, I'm not going to ignore that you're definitely different from before. But what its infuriating is that he saw the coyote shit, he lived the spoctor and peaches villainous arc, he pointed out how Prison-mate Luke was acting and using the screenshots to twist shit, hell he even was there reading the screenshots that got leaked by Atari, how snaky Pentagone and Stories were behind close doors, he knew that just glazing over the docs/evidence is not enough.

But he knows that he should keep some level of professionalism and not joke-flirty to someone who is in hot water, specially if there are allegations AND PROOF of sexual misconduct with minors in repeated occasions.

I haven't been to this channel for a long time, and I've grown very critical of you, Lio. However, I am glad that you are working on yourself. As bad as many of your past actions have been, I do hope you find the means to better yourself and that you can stick to doing the content that actually brings your joy.
That being said, I believe you gave Kumo too much credit regarding his involvement in this situation. He should not have been involved with this situation at all. Regardless of his intent, which I don't believe was as good as you do, his impact matters more. What happened was that he got played and made an ass of himself. I am normally open to people changing for the better, but skirting around with someone like Synni was the same thing as JAR: He shot his career, or what little there was, in the foot. It would appear he's deleted his channel, and it's probably best he stays away.
As a side note, I don't believe JAR was being entirely honest with you in this call. The whole reasoning for Spoctor, I believe, is because JAR doesn't actually stand by what he says or has any convictions of his own. Like you said, he will wait until a winning side presents itself before jumping in to provide his "perspective" and pretend it was correct all along. He's a snake in the grass, plain and simple. It's fortunate that he finally got caught, and people will be looking into him more closely. Maybe then he'll finally learn something.

I generally like to let these sorts of things cook. But I just got to the part where JAR just said he can't afford therapy. If you're in the US there are non profit therapy organizations or counselling, especially if you're in a metropolitan area. True they won't be at the same level of quality that say one you pay through insurance or out of pocket for but if you NEED to talk to someone it's better than nothing. Also most employers are going to have some sort of counseling services or a like care bridge if they don't have a counsellor on hand they can look up non profit in your area. Don't think that just because your financially not well off that you have to suck it up alone. There's help out there it's just a lil tricky to find sometimes.
So to you, rando reading this, if you need help please know its out there. You are worth the help and you don't have to be a millionaire to receive it.

Anyway, I know this was kinda a small thing compared to JAR defending a groomer thing, but I would like to clarify that I did share the alluded to call with the likes of LinLin and MaliMalware, they were directly involved in the situation, and I felt like they should've known what JAR was saying about them, and JAR also knew I was going to do that within the call, hell, JAR kinda alluded to the fact he was going to share his side of the call with someone too, so... I didn't see it as any issue.

At this point, a few other people have now seen the call, ThatCreepyReading reached out to me a little bit ago, before this video, for context, and I wanted to be transparent, so I passed it to him, which then was followed by Harley getting a hold of it with my permission. Things are messy about that call at this point, but as far as things are concerned, to my knowledge, that situation is long since over anyway. JAR never followed up on it, Lin never followed up on it, and I explained to JAR why I voiced in LinLin's video, understanding why he had issue with it, I don't remember if I said this in call, but if JAR is shown this, or JAR reads this, I am sorry, moreso now that I know sharing the call at all genuinely bothered you.
Though, it hurt knowing your video on me came out, I couldn't actually watch it, nor did I really want to, given I was supposed to be gone, and it shouldn't have mattered anymore what people were saying about me (barring Akumu showing people that I was in the nsfw chat of the FCK, I genuinely did not recall being in there and that was REALLY eating at me, so he gave me closure on that, so... thanks for that, genuinely.), it hurts even more knowing what was actually in that video, JAR, something you DID know genuinely bothered me was used as entertainment for you, you used something that I had made publicly clear was bothering me as a tool for social climbing, and after I had conceded, after I gave up, after I left because I realized I was a genuine monster, I won't deny, that video wrecked me.
Perhaps I did deserve it. I won't deny that, after all, I did downplay mine and others actions in the FCK, I did, accidentally or not, omit my involvement in the FCK, I did forget things in my spreadsheet, I did nothing in the server to stop something I absolutely should've spoken about, I couldn't get my story straight, I may have lied to people, I used one of the victims as a shield, and, according to my comments, I may have knowingly, and willingly, enabled grooming in the server. That's the reason I left, after all, I am a bad person, and while it doesn't mean much now, I'm sorry. With that said, seeing everything come from you, really is indicative of a much larger issue you face when it comes to social interactions; you and I talked things out, and I was still volunteering to be one of your editors when Lin's video came out, yet you saw everything I did as purely transactional, and you did not care about me as a person, by the sounds of it - that's how you treat everyone. As numbers you can add to yourself.
That is my piece on the matter, perhaps I shouldn't, maybe this comment is a bad idea at the end of the day, but, wanted to get it off my chest. I'm going to... *TRY* to get back to non-existence, and focus on myself. Sadly, JAR has met that same downfall with how he's handled pretty much every situation he's gotten into and refusing to listening to anyone's sound advice.
Normally, I would like to see someone rise up again from a fall. But in JAR's case, I honestly don't know. What I *do* know is that he needs to get off the Internet for an extended amount of time to better himself, and to connect with real-life friends and do fun activities with them. That's bound to help him.

I’ve never felt so much second-hand anxiety in all of the interviews JARs had. It's painful to see him just dig a bigger hole for himself. Especially because he is defending something quite unforgivable, I can’t see myself being in his position and doing what he did and still shooting myself in the foot.

Another point to the "and the 7 they/thems" joke-- even when trans people make it, it CAN be transphobic. There is a lot of infighting in queer communities. In particular to this conversation, there are groups of people who are "transmedicalists" and insist that in order to be trans, you need severe gender dysphoria and need to desire cosmetic surgery - often this argument is posed against nonbinary people because we don't fit neatly into the male-female umbrella.
On another note, watching you put together models is so relaxing -- it makes me want to try it out myself, it looks like it's a nice way to unwind after work (as long as you don't lose a piece and drive yourself mad looking for it lol)

And JAR said that he knew this was going to backfire on him. He was aware that this was going to happen. Look, JAR. I get that you wanted to do the right thing, but this was not it. Especially after knowing your condition.
I just feel…sorry..but I can’t blame him at the same time. There were times that I felt like that I wanted to do the right thing, even if that meant risking my entire career.

I know I shouldn't have been, but I was floored when JAR was basically like oh I watched your video! Instead of...reaching out to you. Or that he consumed videos about you but then he... didn't talk to you and come to his own conclusions of what he would do.
And then in the end, that call - as you said in this video multiple times - he has no idea what a friend is. He uses people as stepping stones.
I hope he doesn't go through with the apology video either. It's not going to go well. No one is going to believe him even if he grovels and the commentary community is going to JUMP on him because they have their popcorn ready at all times.
He needs to get off the internet, self reflect, get a lot of therapy (probably have several therapists with one just being his babysitter), and grow up. And then maybe he can come back (but when he does, all of this is going to come right back up).
I am interested to hear what you have to say about Kumo, especially after everything else happened and how he, (IMO) instead of taking his L's, striked a small channel, doubled down on it, and then deleted everything and left. He came off like someone who can dish it out but not take it when it comes back to him, and that he has a massive ego who also needs to grow up. But that's IMO.
But honestly though, great job on talking to JAR and walking him through it and just telling him point blank how it is and why. I hope he takes your words to heart.

It's funny how he mentions that he's going to talk to you and get your opinion on the topic and then insults you in the same breath; funny in a way that shows how two faced he is and frankly very disturbing that he'll joke about someone who he once considered a colleague would someone who is practically a stranger to him. Actually terrible behavior and not how you should speak about your friends.
Truth be told, I didn't bother looking into how bad the Synni situation really was, and so when Jar made his video on the matter, I honestly thought he did due diligence because he did so well with Seththeprogrammer and Daft Pina. So it legitimately became more baffling how bad this video really was when I was watching others covering the situation.
NGL, I felt pretty fucking stupid myself for assuming nothing was wrong when the video was made initially. But that's what happens when not following the story when one gets tired of having to hear these things again and again.
(Yeah, I was watching the FCK videos and the sort and mentally exhausted me for a while, so obviously, I didn't bother checking these things out. Until TH-camrs I know brought them up.)
Well then, with that being said. Time will tell how this will play out.
What I find baffling is that JAR tends to like my comments even if I spend a good amount of time in some of them defending you, Lio. Because I can speak for myself and say, despite how many screw ups that happened with you. I can still see some admirable parts of you regardless. Because at the end of the day, as long as you didn't actually cause someone's actual death or any form of irreparable damage to an innocent bystander. Yet, you still feel bad for any mistakes that happened. That tells me more that improving and willingness to change from that is all that is needed.
I just wished Jar shared the same mindset I did about you. Not just the fact you helped him. Mostly, the fact that you still did the selfless acts not to gain because you thought yourself as doing something right in the end. But we will see how he'll handle things in the end.

Yeah, sometimes I wish I could be more involved, but if I do, I might make things worse. So it is what it is by the end of the day.
I personally say Jar should just stick with media reviews because that was made me hooked to his content more.
