I believe that you are asking for the white cable in unify switch. That was a 3m Cat6 patch cord from Panduit and the other end was connected to my Dream Machine!

    Hi,
Was wondering how do you compare the range and stability of the WIFI connection FleXHD vs UAP-AC-M-PRO

For outdoor use i recommend to use only AC Mesh Pro. FlexHD is weatherproof not waterproof. Both Access Points are very stable. About range i believe that AC Mesh Pro is better but i have not done any tests.

@@PoseidwnTech I've heard rumors that U6-Mesh, a replacement for FlexHD with WIFI6 technology is weatherproof. For range, my primary concern is it omni-directional reach.

Hi, Would you get the UAP-AC-M-PRO or the FLEXHD for out an outside area with 200+ users?

It is better to use the UniFi Mesh Pro. Flex hd it's weatherproof not waterproof, so it needs to be installed only in an outside protected area for example under a Pergola.

@@PoseidwnTech I have the Unfi Mesh Pro and I connected directly to my router. It’s on and I can see it however all the users seem to be assigned to the HD Access point on the ceiling. Not one user has been assigned to the mesh yet and I’m wondering why. Even the users outside standing right beside the mesh access point are connecting to the indoor access point.

First outdoor mounting point seemed to low.
I though it has to be mounted waist-high (because it is positioned as table-top also)

We used a piece of wood to install the access point only for the needs of this video! It was not a real installation!

@@PoseidwnTech that explains why you used a level but the end installation wasn't leveled lol.
Anyway, thank you for this video. It is quite useful.

Flex hd its weatherproof not waterproof, its means it need to installed in an outside protect area not in a pole with all the elements of weather, huminity will corrode that ethernet port after a short period. Weatherproof can provide some protection from some particles its not rate ip67 as the weatherproof which are sealed and protect and made from different materials to withstand heavy aerial particals and water. Greate unboxing.

You are totally right. We had to clarify this on the video. Thanks for pointing this out.
