The Flash may be Barry Allen’s first solo movie, but it is also a major crossover event with key repercussions for the DC Universe’s future. Even without considering that The Flash might wrap up the current DCEU, the Andy Muschietti film is shaping up to be DC’s biggest movie yet - at least in terms of the scale. The return of Man of Steel’s villains and Ben Affleck’s Batman, the debut of Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, the existence of two Barry Allens, and Michael Keaton’s Batman comeback makes The Flash feel bolder than even Justice League.
Recent DCEU movies have lacked an epic sense of scale that is often associated with the DC characters, something that The Flash appears to be fixing. While that big scale can lead to a more expensive film, it also allows the movie to portray characters like the Flash or Supergirl in a way that does justice to their comic book powers. The Flash has all the tools to be a visual spectacle.

yeah because unauthorized time travel can cause the speed force to punish the speedster by reducing their speed, in the comics diff colors of speed represent the amount speed. blue is higher and orange is bit lower than blue and yellow. hence color difference.
In the movie canon, gold lightning is superior to blue, Barry got more adept with the force

Wally West’s was yellow but then he cooked in the speed force for 10 years after sacrificing his life to save the world ( Young Justice ) and then when the justice league and all other heroes are battling Darkseid, Wally comes in clutch, becoming more powerful than any other speedster in the multiverse. But in a recent comic issue, Barry Allen punched a multiversal cosmic being called the Anti-Monitor across the multiverse at millions of times faster than light speed. Speedsters are definitely the most powerful of heroes. I’d rather have a good connection to the speed force than be a kryptonian if you ask me.

@@aljabirxiju9475 they are doing it because the film is about the multiverse and they want to show how all the batman we have seen so far on screen are slightly connected and similar. Yeah, nostalgia adds to it, but story wise it makes sense imo

Looks like Ben's Batman is only in the first and perhaps last part with Keaton in the middle. Also seeing Batman during the day don't have the same effect as night . This film looks good .

Michael Keaton's back must be killing him from carrying the weight of pretty much any and all of the hype there is for this movie. DC needs to seriously recognize that practically no one is going to this for Flash, it's all about seeing the classic Batman returning and kicking ass better than he ever has before.

I think this will be a merging of all DC Movies. They used Nolan's Batman line. Herny Cavill is too quiet, very quiet. So is Gal and Jason. I will not be surprised if they will come up with the big bang. Gunn is no dumbass, he know Cavill is the fan's choice for Superman

-I could be wrong but the use of a Batman suit to make a Flash suit could be an homage to the tv Flash series (1990) with John Wesley Shipp. In that series you could clearly see the creators of the show used a Batman suit clipped the pointy ears and substituted lightning bolts to the sides of his head.

I gave up watching superhero movies after Avengers: Endgame. They were becoming too formulaic and CGI bloated.
But, gotta admit, that I'm jazzed to see this one. Michael Keaton's Batman returns? I'm all in.
