That is traditional Adventist teachings here in the UK when I was a child in the 1960s & 70s; that vegetarianism is better than meat eating, that we don't listen to pop music or visit the cinema, and that we don't watch TV especially young children. I didn't start watching TV till I was about 8 or 9. SDA lifestyle standards started to slide in the 1980s and 90s.

This is a very shallow story that has not answered the title. An investigation should be a fact finding mission where allegations are linked with proper evidence to prove or exonerate the accused. The church regional president even went ahead to indicate that the alleged group has contravened their teachings hence the reporter should have gone ahead to prove if the church supports schools and hospitals. Going to the extent of calling the reporter a crook? Seriously? The Anglican Church, and most protestant churches of a global standing stemmed from the Roman Catholic church. Am not saying that this is wat we believe as SDA's but if at all you're a Christian, you know that your life doesn't equate to money and worldy stuff. SDA Church promotes all spheres of development including schools and hospitals. The first private university in Kenya, University of Eastern Africa Baraton is owned by the SDA Church. Another University called Adventist University of Africa in Ongata Rongai is also owned by theSDA Church. Hospitals owned by the church including Kendu Adventist Hospital Homabay, Nyanchwa Adventist Hospital in Kisii, Nairobi Adventist Hospital in Karura among others are big institutions owned by the SDA Church. Insinuating that SDAs are dropping out of schools and not going to hospital is a fallacy created by the NTV. Brian Ogola can do a better research by interviewing the top leadership of the church.

This is a very shallow story that has not answered the title. An investigation should be a fact finding mission where allegations are linked with proper evidence to prove or exonerate the accused. The church regional president even went ahead to indicate that the alleged group has contravened their teachings hence the reporter should have gone ahead to prove if the church supports schools and hospitals. This was below par from where I sit, the young man should go for more mentorship from the likes of Dennis Onsarigo and Jicho Pevu.

I compare this false piece about the Adventist Church to that persecution of the disciples. I thank God because this mass media tool that has been used to tarnish the work of the Lord Jesus will be used to drive many to Christ.
