Life is good and ugly. Everything ain't always sunshine and flowers. Life can get dark and ugly. Mac Definitely struggled with it, as many others did/do. But to reach out and express himself and on serious matters we can all relate to, just puts these two albums UP there!! So damn sad, YET. So damn beautiful. He left us with two masterpieces, the production on Swimming and Circles are just WOW.
Circles is the album that Mac fans needed after his passing. The first song tells us that he has went back to his old ways but he found peace. Imo of course as a Machead
"Quick fun fact. Mac was really into theory. The chord for the last song doesn't actually finish a chord progression. However, the starting chord of the album finishes and "completes" the progression, thus creating a musical "circle" like the title of the album "Circles". Signifying how life goes in a circle, just like the album goes in a musical circle.
