Another trick is to imagine jumping up and down the number line like a stair case. It works for me sometimes.

I was a receptionist for years. I could remember every phone # by memory without looking it up in a directory of over 100s. Now, after an injury, have trouble repeating back information. I have to make lists, and notes for Everything. This would be a very good thing for me, I reckon. 'You don't know what you've got until it's gone.' Memory is a very precious gift.❤

Keep working on it! I tried fish oil which helps. Also, I try not to worry too much about it, that helps me remember what I can!

I actually need to know, or some tips, to memorize random 20 letters in below 15s for short term memory at least for the next 30-50s
*this is actually for rubik's cube 3x3, you've learnt 2x2 one, 3x3 need 20 letters

    Summary:
    -focus
    -cut it in small parts
-make sense of it and what it can remind you of
    -write it
    ex:
    5186750321
    write it vertically
    518
    675
    0321
    then write it again
leave out the middle digit (blank it)
    5_8
    6_5
    0__1
    then write it again
leave out the last digit (blank it)
    51_
    67_
    032_
    then write it again
leave out the first digit (blank it)
    _18
    _75
    _321
    and fill the blank
close your eyes and try to memorize it

Great ideas! I have a system where I convert numbers to letters and you can very easily remember like phone numbers etc! I once remembered 550 digits of pi with this self-developed system. It took me a couple of weeks and I didn't do it that actively. It splits the number sequence into chunks of 3 and I have a letter corresponding to each number twice. So a number can be either a consonant of a vowel depending whichever makes a better word idea to your head. Then do a story out of the generated words and place 1-2 chunks into one memory palace location.
