Can't agree with Gamematics completely. Yeah bloom, armor lock, and the arena... and a few other things kind of made the game a bit more nube friendly and crappier over all for competitive players... BUT... They did address these issues for the hardcore halo pro type players later on in a big way so that's a improvement for them. As for the casuals who just want crazy customs and shit. This is probably the best halo game for that. It's the most content rich halo game to this day that's for sure. Also no limiting micro transaction online only bullshit either that you get with games like halo 5 soo...

My brother and I played this once and beat it. I've never been that good at the game, though. He's better at playing FPS games with a controller than I am. I'm a mouse and keyboard guy with that genre of gaming.

The reason thee were no spartan III is because there weren't any in service....atleast that is what you are lead to believe. MC and his team was the last known Spartan III's....and when MC believed his team was dead....people thought MC was the last spartan III.
Gamematics Master Chief and Blue Team are Spartan IIs. Not III. The Spartan III were made up of two companies trained by former Spartan II Kurt on Onyx. All but 2 of the first company were wiped out, and most of the next one wiped out as well. They never even went to Reach. Spartan IIs were the only Spartans on Reach. And directly after CE Master Chief met up with Blue Team again, so it was only thought that he was the last during CE.

Saying that it "wouldn't be possible" is a bit of an overstatement. Humanity has developed stealth technology by this time, so why is it crazy to think that the Covenant has better and more sophisticated stealth technologies?
+PitaJ They're the Covenant, that's why :P In 'The Fall of Reach' novel, the Eric Nyland really emphasized how powerful the Covenant are, and just how surprising it was to discover their capabilities. The first Covenant ship in the book that they encountered was about 1/3rd of the size of a Paris-class frigate, which is VERY small when compared to the other ships in the Halo lore. That tiny Covenant cruiser was able to severely damage the UNSC frigate, and simply just wouldn't die, even after a direct blast from a MAC. My point is, the Covenant is vastly superior, so them being able to completely bypass Human defenses isn't exactly a crazy idea, most of their technology was derived from the Forerunners after all. Besides, Elites and some classes of Brutes use stealth technology, or cloaking devices. From a realistic standpoint, even today we have stealth technologies, like the F-22 Raptor or the F-35 Lightning II.
