Advice: when on site - remove the extra twin beds so the girls get more space. Use one of the station rooms as storage rather than the caravan. Use the charity shops for small items rather than trying to unpack all your stuff. Dishes, glassware, etc can be had really cheaply and you don't have to sacrifice your good stuff unless you want to. Also, great place to buy clothes you'll reno in (and never want to keep afterwards). Onward and upwards!

That was my favorite (American spelling), too. Yes, a 2 hour drive is normal for us so I had to laugh when you mentioned that. Living on-site will keep the project rolling and easy to put a couple of hours in each day instead of waiting for the weekend.
What a great video my wife and I lived in one of these for 13 years and raised 5 children in that time, here in Canada we call them mobile homes we also lived a colder part of Canada in the winter time and insulated skirting helped keep the heat in. Thanks for the caravan tour and best regards from Calgary Canada.
Hello Calgary from Calgary haha. When they said caravan my brain went RV or trailer and then they got to the yard and I was like "oh mobile homes ok no I get it" 😅 😂
I think that you picked wisely. It's a temporary living place,so you won't have to worry about trying to keep moving from room to room if you stayed in the station. Good luck and stay safe and warm.🦋🦋🦋
The caravans you viewed were all very nice, but I believe you chose the best. Bonus that they're delivering for free! How exciting for you all and I cannot wait to see the progress you guys make ❤
Well done on choice and the best part is after you have moved in to the railway house you have choices as you could rent out the caravan, it could make the money back on it in time. And just always handy to have for Family and Friends. Have a Great week ahead love watching your progress. Hugs Dede xxxx

Congrats on your caravan purchase. I too would have gone with the one you chose. My maternal great grandmother was from Wales and my grandmother from Shropshire. She married an American GI during WWII. 🎉 sending hellos from Tina in the USA.
I wish we had these type of homes in the US! Your designs are more functional and well appointed than what we have in the US. The closest thing to this would be a park model mobile home, which is built to the same standards as a camper (caravan here). They can look more trailer like or more house like. We have manufactured homes, but they are more to the same building standard as a regular house. I’ve lived in my camper (travel trailer) since Sept 2019. I am semi off-grid. Winters are very hard with 4 season weather. I clear my pipes up for the winter otherwise they freeze. You chose my favorite home! Love the layout and nice living room
What a great idea to get a caravan for living in while you renovate. When we built our house we lived in a caravan for several months until the downstairs was finished. We had a guest apartment downstairs so we moved into that until the house was completely finished. I like the advice about using things from the thrift store so you don’t need to unpack. We did that and just kept the bare minimum of things. It made it so easy to get things done. 😊
I love that you have taken on this trip to Wales. As to which caravan to have is the one you will be happy with. I think you will be staying in it longer than you think.
The caravans are well cheap, anyone of them is brilliant and exciting but it's only temporary keeping your budget low , putting you van between the platforms could be problematic due to the weight of the van ? Anyway love the channel and keep up with the good work 👍.
Thank you very much! I’m hoping the weight will be ok. We could always put it on a bed of railway sleepers… we seem to have plenty of them lying around!!

WOW! Buying that Caravan (called a mobile home here in America) is a perfect solution. It will save so much time and energy. You and the kids will be so glad you bought it and spent the little extra to get exactly what you need. As always looking forward to your next video! Jerry Los Angeles CA
Thanks Jerry 😊
Here in Florida that mobile home would have been at least 55-70k USD. Its nice and well kept for its age. I believe that is why you don't see renovators in the US using them. Perfect solution for your temporary needs. Enjoying watching thanks for sharing!
Thanks, that’s so expensive, you can get a brand new one here for that price. Thanks for watching
Third one is nice
