So volume of distribution is a parameter used to measure how much drug is being absorbed by organs and how much is not being utilized (remains in blood plasma)?
This video needs to be more specific as to what concentration will be used as the concentration is constantly changing over time. Otherwise it is a good overview of Vd.
I don't have problem in understanding those having higher vol of distribution but in cases where Vol. of distribution is lower than blood volume of 5 L
How is the volume of distribution less than 1? that means the concentration in the plasma has to be higher than the given dose? I can wrap my head around the Vd being 10.000 but not it being

Yes it is beneficial for action of drug but in case of poisoning it is difficult to remove it because drug is not restricted to vascular compartment
