Thank you I agree completely I am so disappointed in the metroid fan base for disliking this game, I felt like I was playing metroid fusion++ in 3D, people tell me it is because Samus is emo but she has always been emo when Adam is involved, she goes all gay for a computer cause it says something he said once. You just never had to watch her be emo in cinema scenes I guess... But Other-M 2 was announced and cancelled as it was decided the fans did not like it :(
I highly doubt a woman always talking about either A)Her love for Adam or B)The Baby is "human." I'd understand if she mentioned "The Baby" a few times throughout the game.But every other seconds it's about "the Baby this" "The Baby That."
the time i played this game i was 7 or 8 years old. i played it with my father now im 19 and we still play it. i was so scared of mother brain, i mean look at this monster its really scary!!!! METROID FOREVER!!!!

@nat6660 I agree definitely! That metroid other M game looks kinda simplistic, graphically. I'll definitely give it a try though since the SNES version is tied for favorite snes game of all time with FF3 (VI).
Wish they would remake Super Metroid to look like the pic above and stay true to its 2D routes. Even with the old graphics, Super Metroid remains one of my favourite games to this day

What Nintendo needs to do is what Sega is doing with the latest Sonic but take it to the next level. Two selectable modes: Classic or Modern in the same game. The Classic mode would be just like how Bionic Commando Rearmed is. Modern would be Metroid Prime style. Then I wouldn't feel ripped for paying $60 on a new game...

the whole sidescroller on a 3d engine gives the potential for a much more dynamic game han the traditional 2D randering engines could. check out a not well known game for the N64 called Mischief Makers (i think the JP name is Doki Doki Trouble makers! i'm probably wrong tho) thats a great 2d platformer ueing 3d graphics.
@KitsuneGeneral Ah come on, there are so many interesting titles out there nowadays. The PS3 has Little Big Planet and Flower, for example. XBOX360 has Limbo. Mirrors Edge would also be one of them. There are a ton of games with good gameplay AND nice graphics out there. You just have to look for them.
metroid other m is not a remake of super metroid it takes place imbertween super metroid and fusion and it looks awsome! im a fan of all things metroid music and all so i know a bit or to :)

I really want Nintendo to make a remake of super Metroid. I love the original but I think since they did Metroid 2 they have to do super Metroid. Yes I know they’re currently working on Metroid prime 4, and might do something afterwards (hopefully Pikmin 4 or something Kid Icarus related) but I think super Metroid should be remade. Not fixing any of the speed running glitches, keeping it mostly the same, just making the game pretty for the switch. Who’s with me?
Did anyone notice that Mother Brain is on the wrong side? :P Epic artwork though, I really like it. Makes the whole scene look epic. I would kill to see this live, and seethe reactions of the people when Ridley comes on. :D

All metal should be composed by professionally trained Japanese musicians and played by American metal-head gamers, it is clearly the formula for the perfect song.
I never played other m because it never really got my attention but i have seen some game play and i still kinda don't like it but that's because i like the first person game play that the recent three had like i love that feature but im sure other m has a good story to it like i said i never tried it my self but im sure ill enjoy the story if i do.
@KitsuneGeneral I gotta agree with you on that one.. I know it's a matter of personal taste but Wii had more "fun factor" than PS3. I only use my PS3 to watch Blu-rays nowadays, while it's covered in dust with all these mediocre FPS I got tired of in 2 days.
