Discreet Relief (Jamuary 2025 Day 24)

Today was the day! "24 Hours of Eno". I already watched 2 versions of the new Eno documentary, hoping to catch a 3rd before this extravaganza is over : )
To celebrate the godfather of ambient music himself, I decided to retread the disintegrating loop concept, this time with the deconstructed melody of Frank Zappa's most sublime composition, "Blessed Relief". I used a resonant band pass filter as the primary voice, volume controlled by an envelope from QARV. The 2 bass voices are the triangle waves from the Benjolin tuned to harmonies I liked. All three of these are mixed together and sent through the other side of MCF as a low pass filter. This all then goes through the DittoX4 for looping and Slo for reverb. A pretty simple patch, but trying to harness Eno's concept of complexity arising from simplicity. Enjoy!
