The random "And then...." from Dude Where's My Car just... got me. Al, I'm constantly impressed by your video quality and humor. Thanks for the great content! I just got fitted myself, tested all the drivers. For whatever reason, hated Sim2 after loving Sim... but the Epic Max LS was just performing so much better for me across multiple days so... that's in the mail! Along with Sim 2 Ti 3 & 5 woods, and some JPX 921 forged irons.

I would love to see the Cobra up against the SIM2 now. I recall you smashing the Cobra on the course a few months ago.

I always read the comments, and usually they don’t surprise me. But all the people saying that TM wins on looks is shocking. I thought that the first one was ugly, and the SIM2 is even worse...to my eye. I think the Callaway looks worlds better than the TM. Evidence that beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.
I call it the Toys ‘R’ Us driver because it looks to me like the aesthetics could have been designed by Mattel. It seems to perform, but I just don’t think I could get used to the toy spaceship looks.
I love the TM but, I'm a big fan of then EPIC LS out of all of them.
Can’t wait for the next comparison video, maybe a Chin to Chin or a Spleen to Spleen?!
I'm not gonna lie, after trying the Sim2, epic speed and the cobra Radspeed, the cobra is the best out of the 3 across the board. You gotta compare all of them

I’m going to try the SIM this year! Honestly, and weirdly, TaylorMade clubs have never really worked for me. Why? No idea. I struggle to make consistent contact, and they always feel impossible to find the middle of the face. I love them in theory though!
Exactly same issue as me but i really want to like that sim. Narrowed it down to sim and tsi3 for my gamer this year
Same here. I have an M2 and a Rogue . Same shaft, and loft, but I am way more consistent with the Rogue, although I am slightly longer with the M2.
I've always had a soft spot for Callaway drivers, but that TM Sim is an absolute beast! Both unreal drivers in their own rights.
I just bought an Epic Max and it goes as straight as anything I've ever hit. The Project X XZDRUS RDX Smoke Black shaft is attached to this great driver.
Great video, Al. One request. Is it possible to place the camera in such a way that we can see the left section where numbers are displayed? That would provide context when watching results and we can see the effects of launch characteristics and ball speed on ball flight.

Great stuff Al. For me it’s easy. The TaylorMade all the way round. Plus the fact that you can customize the colors? Bonus.
Was waiting on this. Tried out the Epic Max LS but found that the adjustability only helped to draw the ball (which is already my flight) so it wasn't for me. The SIM is a beast, but it's too hard to control.

Friday was a little chilly and windy but they let us demo the Sim on the course, it was good but wasn't really a big improvement over my TM. The Sim was much lighter though.
Saturday was a little warmer but this time they let use demo the Epic Speed, 9deg. I didn't swing it until the 9th hole and I am pissed that I waited. A little heavier then my TM but it felt so much better at contact.
I was thinking about replacing my 3w, 5w and 3h this year. I want to try the Epic 3w and 5w but right now, I am thinking about going in without testing because of how much I liked the driver.
Love a Toe2Toe, especially when the shirt gets untucked.

Both brands are winners right back to 2017 when the GBB Epic SZ and Taylormade M1 were rivals. Ok Al how about putting the new driver (your buddies at TXG recently reviewed) which barely edged the Titleist TSI-3 which is the 2021 Tour Edge Exotics C721 up against the SIM2? Also against the Epic MAX LS?

Just used my friends new T2 nice looking but not going further then my old Callaway xr16, other friend in our 4 ball used the T2, again less distance then is Callaway big bertha 2015, model.
Seems a lot of people with high swing speeds are overlooking the epic max ls, but people that do review it seem to hit that one farther. Could be interesting to use that instead of the speed and see your numbers.

I am hoping you’ll hit the TSi3 vs the 425LST. I currently have the Ping, but can’t get that sexy looking Titleist out of my mind!
I just got my TSi3. Its proving to be even better than my TS3. You won't be disappointed in any of the drivers this year.
I've narrowed it down to sim 2 or tsi3 but tsi3 wins it on looks for me.
Should you not be using the speed LS version?
SIM looks like a BMW M1 in styling.... probably says something about why one would like the looks of it...

I just find Callaway for me is more accurate, I want to love the TaylorMades but the occasional bomb drive vs decent length accuracy, no brainer for me

I hated the look of the SIM2 when it was first leaked, but it's growing on me.
The Callaway's just look tired. Like 2010 styles are back.

Absolutely love the look of the SIM, but can never seem to hit it well during fittings. Always get better results with the Callaway. Been putting off pulling the trigger though...still holding out hope I can find a fitter who can make the SIM work for me!

Big Al, the day I take one of your reviews to be serious scientific advice is the day I spend all my money on magic beans :) Great video as always and no need for the disclaimer... although if I should not listen to your advice and you gave a disclaimer, doesn’t the double negative mean that I actually should be taking your advice??
Recently got fitted for an epic speed with a ventus blue 6s. Hitting bombs daily. My problem with the SIM2 is the deadened sound, I just can't get past it. Also the shaft was pured so the callaway hosel is so much better.
Sim 2 Driver is my favorite.
Every time I go for a fitting they never give me Taylormade to try. It’s always Ping, Titleist and recently Mizuno.
You seem old enough to request whatever you desire, am I missing something here ??
