Considering this will be for your father, there wont be a better option than Brezza. Maruthi engines hve long life(look at dzire - they run smooth even after 2lakh kms), best in Mileage, low maintenance cost and most most important -peace of mind( no issues at all). It wont break down suddenly putting you in trouble. Decent safety 4 rating.

I own nexon for last one year. Its true beast in sport mode and decent mileage. Don't compromise of safety i think you know better than anyone else. Airbag is passive safety feature but nexon has lot to offer on active safety feature.
Brezza is also 4star rated
but not good in fit and finishing, after sales service and side profile of the car really sucks.

14:30, Vikash bhai its not a hybrid its mild hybrid, there is no role of the battery 🔋 to drive the car, all time engine drives the car, its called hybrid ( mild ) just bcoz that battery gets charged while running the wheels although it happens in other cars too but it stores all the energy, it not lets the energy waste ✌️✌️✌️
You can also try xuv 300 in petrol , gives mileage of 16-17 kmpl normally and 5 star rated safety it is also not a much lage car.

Vikash Bhai I'm from Ranchi. And in my opinion you shouldn't get a Hatchback atleast. Yaha ke bumpers and road conditions kaafi deteriorate hote jarahe. Leave that, even RING ROADS ki halat kharab hai. High speed lanes mei potholes hai jisme hatchback would sure be bit scary to handle. I own a Seltos and Celerio. And I'm really scared to take Celerio in highway or roads especially in Monsoon. Hatchback are great for city touring but not all good for highways here
Get your dad a compact SUV. Better space and better Drive/control in these roads. Get any brand you like coz no issue of service centers here. Ranchi has almost all the service centers and they also offer pickup-drop facility to most areas as well
And what about the parking issues?? You can't just park a compact SUV easily if you go out where as a hatchback can be adjusted.
@@101SquadStories i would say Compact SUV is comparatively bit easy as well. I have driven my friends nexon a lot. And if there is Adequate space for parking for a Hatchback the Sub compact SUV also fits there
I'm not sure but I think nexon is the widest of all Csuv. And it is OKAISH to park. Also C-Suv Like Brezza also comes with 360 degree camera
The seltos and harrier being bigger in length as well, they sure are tough to park at crowded places
@@Holy_Demon My concern is not just to park a vehicle but to save it from getting scratched by other vehicles as people in Ranchi park their vehicles beside the roads.. and a bigger car would be comparatively more prone to get scratched as they occupy more space than hatchbacks.

But it is usually the other faults which cause the scratches. And usually at general body heights at what scratches occurs, C-suv tends to do better coz they have plastic claddings around. Hatchback not so much..
In some ways Hatchbacks are more prone to scratches in B2B traffics 😅 also My celerio has more scratches and bumps due to others fault in like 8 years 55k KMs rather than my Seltos which covered 42k Kms in 2 years (any scratches are mostly on plastic claddings which can be repaired or replaced easily and cheaply)
I'll won't deny the ease of HATCHBACK for a city, but his dad sure will keep the vehicle for longer period and C-suv would be a lot more versatile

Also this same Dct from hyunda is said to a curse for ownership from western world market

Hatchbacks (i20, baleno) is pretty low in height and that might be an area of concern during ingress and egress specially for older people.
Considering the requirement, sub compact SUVs may be a pretty good option. Either venue or brezza should be a good option in my opinion.

Premiumness, aesthetics, reliability, may compromise on mileaze: Venue
Please do check the Sonet also just to have a feel and compare between the cars belonging to the same segment.

I have a suggestion. As per your father requirement TATA TIGOR XZ+ will make more sense. I own it and my father enjoys it much more than me. He is about 75 now and my mother is about 68. We had done about 900 Kms(it took about 15 Hrs time) in a single day and none of us had fatigue. One of most comfortable car you can find in the market today. You will get this under 9 Lakhs also. I get a mileage of about 24 on highway and about 16-18 in city full loaded. You can steer at speed of of 100+ with full confidence. It is good on bad road also. I have done semi off roading with it. You can try it. Only downside is that it only 85 BHP engine means initial pick up is less. Please try this also.

Being a Kicks turbo CVT owner myself I must say Nissan cars are very underrated. Magnite CVT also has a very good driving experience with punchy turbo engine and smooth shifting CVT gearbox.

bhai maine test drive li thi dct ki usmein suspension bahut stiff tha seat bhi bahut comfortable nhi thi, interior door handles bhi black the bilkul altroz base model jaise. Kahin bhi silver finish ka use nhi tha interior mein, na dooor pe soft touch material at arm rest that was also hard plastic to mazaa nhi aaya. Bas pickup, instrument cluster, touchscreen aur bose ka music system achha tha.

Bro i had a hyundai verna n a suzuki swift then i sold both the cars n bought a new swift in 2019 n brezza in 2021 .. basically we shifted to MS n its being awesome with so much of mileage n headache free maintenance. U can easily switch to brezza it is so comfortable brezza 2021 has 1298 cc engine with 76 bhp whereas swift hatchback has 1298 cc with 85 bhp
