Rotation for the video is outdated. Follow this:
1. Cast Bestial Wrath Icon Bestial Wrath on cooldown. Try and get rid of all your Barbed Shot Icon Barbed Shots before casting it.
2. Cast Barbed Shot Icon Barbed Shot when this WeakAura tells you to, or simply on cooldown if you do not want to use WeakAuras.
3. Cast Kill Command Icon Kill Command on cooldown. Always have 30 Focus when it comes off cooldown.
4. Cast Kill Shot Icon Kill Shot on cooldown when your target is below 20% health.
5. Cast Cobra Shot Icon Cobra Shot when you have nothing else to do. Do not cast it too much, or else you will not have enough Focus to cast Kill Command Icon Kill Command.
For your opener start off like this:
1. Use 2x Barbed Shot Icon Barbed Shots
2. Use Bloodshed Icon Bloodshed
3. Use Bestial Wrath Icon Bestial Wrath
4. Use Death Chakram Icon Death Chakram
5. Use Kill Command Icon Kill Command
6. Use Barbed Shot Icon Barbed Shot
7. Use Kill Command Icon Kill Command
8. Use Dire Beast Icon Dire Beast
9. Proceed with your normal rotation.

Great guide and very well explained. I'm a super casual player, so I pretty much just smash buttons, lol, but I love playing my BM Hunter and If I were going to get serious about raiding or group instances, I'll definitely be using your guide. Played WoW for 2 months now an my main is hunter, noticed last night in a raid a hunter with less ilvl than me had double my dps, that led me here, where I’ve now nearly tripled my old dps thanks to your video lol 🙏🏽 bless

Is it just me or does Critical strike always something as my #1 secondary stat priority?
Something that confuses me about these builds when we separate builds for M+ vs raid/ST is people go over an aoe rotation, and a ST rotation meant for raids, but when it comes to bosses in M+ rotation, I'm assuming all we're meant to do is mostly follow the regular aoe rotation but remove multi shot and just focus on keeping 3 stacks of barbed shot and not capping on kill command?
Yes exactly. So you want to use the specific talent builds for M+ or Raid but there will always be situations where for example you're in M+ with your M+ talent build and you're fighting a single target boss. In that case you just use arcane show over Multi-shot.

I would stick to a spirit beast
In the standard Hunter skills we have Arcane shot. Are we agree that it is useless in this spec?

Thx for guide . Recently new to game was survival spec while leveling. I’m 60 atm. My dps is so bad from when I was survival … I don’t get what I’m messing up. Shouldn’t u barb shot multiple targets ? I think not having a macro for my pets is probably my main issue right now they stand around and seem to do dumb things …

I’d love a basic weak aura to let me know when to barb shot and a notification if my pets are inactive or low hp maybe even a bar keeping up frenzy … I’m just so confused because everything said survival was bad but I did great with it . I’m higher level now and oddly doing less damage literally makes now sense also with survival spec for me in dungeons I found it better to forgo mongoose bite … I tried mongoose sooooo many times but idk if it’s a skill issue or just situational for me atm where most dungeons we are killing elites so fast I can’t even get more than 2 stacks of mongoose …
It’s weird people said bm is easy but I’m seriously the worst dps in the dungeon time and again. As mentioned the macro hopefully will help a lot with that … but man .

Orc vs Blood Elf? I feel the need to activate the Orc racial along with Bestial Wrath slows me down?
Taurens actually best race forBM but orc is better than blood elf.
I played a little bit of M+ right now with BM Hunter and i have really fun with it but i have one problem. Often when a Mob is low life i keep pressing my Buttons and when it dies and i press a Button too often it auto focus the nearest enemy and i accidentally pull it. Is there anything which i can do about that? This auto targeting is sometimes really frustrating.
Not sure but take a look in your options and search for the "Enable Action Targeting" and make sure it's turned off. If it's on that might be why.

I can't find any info in any guides about what pets to use.. 2 ferocity? 1 ferocity 1 cunning? or does it not matter what the second pet is?
Use a spirit beast so you get the spirit mend heal. I would also keep a ferocity pet too so you can use heroism if you need it.
What is the spell you used at 3:45 that looks like a big fire bomb? Looks like it's a 1 and a half minute cooldown, but I don't know what that symbol is

How can we have two pets in the same shape?
i love bm, but in higher keys, i feel like its lacking very hard on aoe, monks and dhs in my group are completely fucking destroying the meters compared to me and im doing everything as best i can, keepin barbshot up and my stacks of frenzy at 3 AND tryin to keep my beast cleave active....im doing something wrong maybe, i dunno
BM is just not doing very well in keys right now. It's not you trust me.
What means "about to cap on two charges"? It means use it at 1 charge?

I’m confused still. Do all 3 stacks of barbed shot need to be stacked on one target or spread out amongst 3 separate mobs? If spread out on 3 does the increase to crit and frenzy still stack to 3? I have the weak aura to track Barnes shot stacks but if I spread each barbed shot out on 3 mobs how do I keep track of when to hit barbed shot? I can only see the stacks of barbed shot when they’re all on one target?
You want to spread them out on multiple targets, but it's hard to do sometimes. It's not required, so don't feel pressured to do so. To keep track might look into a weak aura for that.
@@stillsolo I have a weak aura which shows me my 3 stacks of barbed shots but it only shows the stacks when on a single target… to maximize the damage of the dot it should be on 3 enemies but if it’s on three separate enemies am I still gaining the benefits to frenzy and crit stacks x3??? Or does it have to be on 1 target to gain those procs?
@ThePatternForms85 yeah you still gain the benefits if they are on different targets
Each barbed shot causes aoe effect so spread them out and kill command also does aoe effect and multi shot buffs kill command. Icy veins mythic + page for hunter will give you all the answers
How can I get that gun?
Is there a difference between having 1 or 2 pets as bm? Geared something like if you have one it’s more tanks cause the stats and the heal won’t be split between 2.
Or is it just personal preference ?
2nd pet is just more dps

i think ima make a trial character and see if bm feels good to me. i chose destro lock to learn for this early expansion and i do like it i just feel like their damage is not there right now. i personally dont like demo/aff so im leaning towards having another spec to play as an alt. im hoping bm is at least a little bit fun since i do need easier specs to play for my pea brain to understand lol

Yeah we don't use arcane shot for BM. Just remove it from your bars.
Death Chakram gives a damage boost. Why not use that *before Bloodshed in the opener?

Honestly I haven't done a lot of them I've been mainly focused on mythic+ but I need to start doing more pvp

I made a goof with the frenzy buff. It's 90% attack speed not 30% sorry.
How do you deal with not having a kick in this build? I find it rather difficult. Otherwise the damage output is INSANE.

Yeah so the idea is every time you cast a spell you are telling your pet to use their ability. this way they always do i.

What part confused you? You generally want to be using a spirit beast for most content because they have spirit mend which is a nice heal for you but also keep a ferocity pet with you which has heroism for groups.

With Patch 1.0.5 will BM be better than MM with the nerf?
Bm does pull ahead once you get 4 piece and bow from last boss in the raid. But that's for pure st.

The import strings for raid aoe show when imported show different talents than in the video, was this an update?

what is sim?
Sim or the term "Simming yourself" is a way to take your characters gear and spec and put that info into a simulation which runs whats called an API. Its essentually a computer doing your rotation perfectly and then it tells you what your dps is.

I'm confused about why every guide includes bloodshed in the rotation but none of them have taken bloodshed as a talent. Am I missing something here or is every guide just copying the same mistake?
I would only pick it up if im going to be focused on a pure single target raid encounter.
Litlerally stopped watching the vid when you mentioned opening with Bloodshed. I couldn't think of any reason why you'd want to open with Bloodshed instead of Barbed Shots on any situation (aside from Multishot for AoE).
If I recall correctly when I was doing research at the time they were saying to use bloodshed at the start. However things have changed since then. Thanks for pointing it out.
I don't see bloodshed anywhere.
Its part of the talent where you pick between bloodshed and murder of crows. Open your talent tree and in the search window type bloodshed.
The rotation is not ok tho.
