  • This is a ride on the Line 1 Yonge-University. I started off by going to the southbound platform at Wellesley station, boarded a Toronto Rocket train, headed south towards Union station where the train became a northbound University-Spadina train towards Vaughan, and got off 2 stations later at Osgoode. After I got off at Osgoode, I managed to spot a southbound train going towards Union, then to Finch there.
This video will be premiered on March 30, 2024, which is the 70th anniversary of Line 1 (Yonge subway from Union to Eglinton only), in other words, a portion of the route in this video will have its 70th anniversary on the date of premiere.
The Yonge subway opened in March 30, 1954 from Union to Eglinton. Here in this video the parts from Wellesley to Union is being filmed. And I also went forward to Osgoode, but that part, which is part of the University subway, opened later on February 28, 1963 (it had its 61th anniversary around a month ago).
Recorded in 1080p at 60 FPS on March 13, 2024.
