    Lou and Melody,
My wife Suzanne and I are retiring in two years and headed out as you guys are doing.
We want to thank you guys for the content of your videos and the wealth of knowledge that you shared with us.
We agree with your motivation for starting your channel and have watched an incredible amount of TH-cam videos which are no where near as informative and enjoyable as what you guys post. we are still working on finishing all of the posts on your channel and looking forward to seeing more of your adventures. Also you guys helped me finally sell my wife on joining thousand trails!
    Thanks again and happy travels.

We created our TH-cam Channel because of all the crap we had to sift through on TH-cam just to get the little bit of useful information we were looking for there. Glad you like our content. Feedback like this encourages us to keep making our videos. Lou

I love tiny camper camping. I built a 5x8 Squaredrop Camper for less then $2K and its got a full size bed inside and amazing kitchen in the back. I use a Jackery 500 & 100w solar panel when dry camping or plug in when available. Got a good list of new places to go thanks to you. Much appreciated thanks again for making these videos.

Skykomish river, love you're videos. 28 year Sky valley resident, just bought our first RV and Thunderbird will probably be our first stay.

That was a really cute little trailer, I haven't seen one like that. I think I would prefer a van conversion for its stealth benefits, but it is really nice. I love how friendly full-timers are, we miss that life. We're going to Thunderbird soon with our 6 kids and I really appreciate your video- very helpful overall, and I'm glad to know we won't need quarters to do laundry there!

Very pleasant looking campground for sure. I love the pools they had ! Oh, wanted to jump thru the screen, into that hot tub ! Did you ever get in it ? Melody did another very informative tour of the Laundryroom ! The other sites were nice, but I liked yours better. Cool little camper for sure, that Adam and Brittney had ! Thats about the size I would like, but I want a tiny kitchen INSIDE, with a table that folds down to a bed, and a small tiolet....lol, knowing MY luck, Id be outside cooking, and a bear would walk up and want to know when breakfast was being served !!! They were very nice to show you what it looked like inside. Another great video ! Enjoyed it alot. Vicky

Yep - This was truly a down to earth couple. Really great people and was thrilled they gave us a tour of their tiny camper.

Some of those class A's don't look safe; jacked up so high. I love the tiny caravan.

Love the tiny camper, but there are trade-offs. Nevertheless, this couple can get into some pretty cool places with this tiny camper. Thanks for watching! Lou

Fred and I were there in August of this year for 12 days before heading South. We were parked at that second site from the entrance as you go in right by where you were parked. Even though the road was there we had an amazing view of the river from the big windshield in our Class A. We LOVED IT! Its a nice TT and we would also go back again when in the area. That little Jayco is cute. Enjoyed your video. Mary 💕 Fred

Fun tour of the Jayco. Its fun looking at those. Great tour of the campground Lou. We have yet to visit any of the TT on the west coast. This looks like a nice one. Not sure if we will ever get back to the Seattle area as I have no desire to be anywhere near that town again. Last time we were there was in 2008 and we ran into a rather unpleasant situation near Pioneer park. In any event, safe travels!! 🍻 Sean

Thunderbird is actually on the Skykomish River which feeds into the Snohomish River.

HI Louis, I just booked TT Thunderbird today for 4 nights in August because we wanted to do a few day trips to Seattle. Couple questions for you is 1) how long did it take you to get to downtown and 2) Like yourself, we travel with a small dog (mini Aussie- Tuckers Traveling Adventures) and I was wondering if you brought your dog with you when you went to Seattle and if so how dog friendly was it or did you just leave your pup at the campground while you went out for the day?
    Thanks, Erik H.

Hi Erik. The weather was cool so we had no worries about leaving Milo on RV guard duty. The drive into the Seattle waterfront wasn't bad and took about an hour. We did that day trip on a Sunday morning into the afternoon and traffic wasn't bad. We had a great time here. Lou

Do you have to be a thousand trail member to stay at these campgrounds?

    • @LivingOurDreamNow
      @LivingOurDreamNow  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Most if not all Thousand Trails campgrounds are open to the public. The advantage of becoming a member is multi-pronged but the primary benefit is extremely affordable camping. Thanks for watching. Lou

We experienced continuous traffic coming and going at all hours of the day and night when we stayed for three weeks by the river, I reported the suspected drug dealing to the ranger, who laughed, so I will never reccomend anyone to stay there regardless of the beauty of the river
