Love your setup! I have a similar one in my basement. I'd be lost without it, as I also like to grow things all year. I take in a few cuttings of my favorite geraniums, vines, and coleus in the fall, then I make more cuttings from them in March. Same with the pink bubblegum petunias. They're not unique but I love them for the great show they put on in large containers!
I'm just new to your channel and am really enjoying it. Also in your SASKATCHEWAN ZONE 3. Love seeing your grow room set up ❤Mine is very similar as well as the size of your greenhouse. I want to watch again about converting the flourescent lights to LED. Thank you! PS ... Just getting ready to bring out my Cannas, Callas, and Oxallis from their Winter hibernation ( I do it every year and they are fabulous! ❤) Overwinter my Purple Qween, Jewish Ivy, and Germany Ivy, and Coleus as well. Because they don't make much of a house plant, I keep just enough to take slips and start them for my pots outside over the Summer. Happy gardening ❤
I have a similar setup, used to use Mylar for my shelves but got a grow room from Amazon 5x5x7. For shelving I got some inexpensive wire racks w/wheels and am able to hang the daisy chained led lights from them. Can’t wait to follow your seed starting and learn new techniques. I already learned some storage ideas from you. We certainly need to be organized in small space especially gearing up for the growing season. Thank you for sharing.
Those grow tents are a great invention and will no doubt be a consideration for me should I ever need more indoor growing space, especially for wintering bigger/taller plants
Hi I am from Calgary, Alberta. Originally from India, i depends a lot on TH-cam to learn about gardening in Zone 4. Now your channel is one of my favorite. Thanks for the effort.
I just started a variety of seeds for my indoor garden here in Minnesota. I can't take the winter off. I must grow something! Lol my grow set up is in my bedroom.
What an excellent video! Thank you! We recently moved to Grande Prairie in NW Alberta and I found your channel while looking for greenhouse info. Our lot is .4 acres with only grass in the back yard....clean slate with big dreams attached! I look forward to following your channel. Excellent camera work too!
Thank you so much 😊. Twenty-seven years ago, in 1997, our property was also a clean slate. We had to remove a few scrubby trees but we kept the old maple next to the driveway (at least 100 yrs old). I had a 5-year plan landscaping plan, drawn out on old school graph paper that first winter we spent in our newly built home. Believe me, you’ll blink and then you’ll look around amazed at what you’ve accomplished. Don’t rush it, and enjoy the journey.
Grow rooms are important even if you have just a little space. I started lisianthus for the 1st time last year, and it was great. Will start again in Dec this year!
I don't know the left pink geranium since there are so many species. But, the right geranium was mass produced under the name Pelargonium zonale 'Savannah Pink Splash' and I got mine at a big box store, as well. I don't think it is a Calliope Pink Flame since they have darker petals and more red centers.
Thanks so much for letting me know that! Both the dark pink and the light pink are now slightly lighter in colour than they were when growing outside. The lighter pink, outdoors also has a more pronounced white centre with deep red streaks coming from the centre. There are a coupl of good summer photos of both on this short th-cam.com/users/shorts4hMupa3dKq4?si=5aW5egitqssX4yFG

You cannot beat those Visa bubblegums … I saved and grew them for several years in a row because I just loved the show. Thanks for watching!

Glad I could help, I find it makes a big difference.

Thank you for sharing. Would you make r do you have a video of you changing the lights to LED? Thank you.
I don’t have a video on changing the lights to LED, and since all of our lights are now changed over, we wouldn’t have opportunity to make a video.

I’m looking forward to the flowers, for sure. Thanks for watching!
