    I wish I learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix- - Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life changing information that could have great effect on their finances.

      True. Just saying though :- Many overlook that banks are return-driven businesses. I don’t trust keeping a large sum in the bank. Instead, I invest with guidance, enjoy the benefits and actively save up for retirement.

      After the ‘08 crisis, I’ve learned not to trust corporations. Since 2022, I’ve been investing with a finance advisor and have had no major losses. I’m barely 25% short of my $2M goal after subsequent investments to date.

      There are a handful of experts in the field but I’ve stuck with *Joseph Nick Cahill* for about two years now, and his performance has been consistently impressive. He is quite known in his field, look him up.

    While Shaq started as an NBA player, it's worth noting that studies show around 60-65% of NBA players face financial struggles within five years of retiring, and very few reach a net worth of $500 million a decade later. Shaq's ability to build such incredible wealth after his playing days deserves a lot of respect.

    My wife and I are 46 and 32, been married 8 years and both in our professional careers post-school the last 5 or so.
    We're expecting our first in March and I'm really happy we went through a brief period of DINK. We were able to buy a house in 2018, get established in our careers, and build a solid financial foundation to raise a family.

      I’ve watched literally hundreds of videos like this from the ultra wealthy who share their views on the beginnings for them, and I’m very impressed with Shaq’s the most, if you have a team of people helping you succeed, then you will, if you go at it alone, you won’t, simple as that….. a very small percentage of people who go through investments and start at first by themselves can probably do very well by themselves but eventually even the lone wolves will need a pack

    It's interesting to see how some NBA players can go bankrupt and other crush it, like Shaq. I really like that he said the best way to scale is delegation, that is extremely spot on. You definitely can't be in 100 places at once but you can have 100 people in your place. Great to see such a great mindset.

Resigned, worked another 6 1/2 months for two other places got hurt resigned. Started my own business about a year and a half ago.
