Tandoori Chicken originated from the Indian Subcontinent is prepared by roasting chicken marinated in yogurt with spices in a Tandoor, a cylindrical clay oven.
As Tandoor is not common in kitchen, we are trying to prepare the recipe in microwave oven. Tandoori Chicken Perfect cooked in just 35 minutes in microwave oven. Give it a try at home and enjoy the recipe.
Used LG 28 L Convection Microwave Oven (MCS2846SL).
Instructions : -
Press Combi then press Grill+Micro and set time for 15 mins and set temperature at 180DC then start. After 15 mins, take it out, flip the chicken pieces then Press grill mode and cook for 10 mins. Take out again and flip the chicken pieces and repeat for 10 mins in Grill mode.

Its for 800 gm chicken and temperature should be same as shown. Also in 4.28 min of the video it suggested to check to avoid overcooking.

Yes we can use metal rack coming with microwave in combination mode. Please follow guidelines in user manual

Ji manual ke guidelines ke hisap se hi use kare. Jaise microwave mode pe steel use na kare. Combination mode pe shirf grill racks hi use kar sakte hai. Baki details me company ke expert se baat karke samaj sakte hai

Maam pre heat only required when you using convection mode. Micro and Grill me nahi chahiye

I think micro n grill combi mode steel cannot be used....it would resulted in a spark in my lg oven.
But who will confirm this whether it can be used or not ??
@@meenakodali666 I literally faced this problem and got panic, we should not use ANY sort of METAL in Combination and microwave mode, it will generate sparks could damage the machine. It will be mentioned in all brand's user manual I believe. But I don’t how come not just one most of the cooking people showing wrongly.
Expect Glass and Ceramic we cannot use other materials in combination
and microwave mode.
@@karunakarrayala5147 Thanks for writing. I will suggest here to connect with company representative to clarify the confusion you have. If you have the same microwave like this then you can go to page no 17 of user manual where it has been mentioned that grill racks coming with the microwave can be used in any combi mode. Also company representative has confirmed me during installation. I use to make this recipe thrice in a week and I do not have any sparking issue till now. I do not use any metal other than these 2 racks in combi mode.

Can I use soya sauce?
Yes you can in marination for colour. But generally in this item soya sauce is not used. Some people also use food colour which I don't prefer
