      More to come! I’m branching out. I’m still gonna keep doing my runs in the subway, but but I’m glad to have branched out.

    @the_elmeister The train you were riding on, how come the automated announcements were on?

    • @the_elmeister

      @@christopherokhiria9980 The MTA has fixed the automated announcement system on the C3 cars, which is why it is very common now for those diesel cars to have the announcements.

      @the_elmeister Previously, it was rare to find the automated announcements in working condition, while most of the time they were broken, so it required train crews to make manual announcements. Great video, though.

    Why Oyster bay can’t not get more service like the Montauk and between Greenlawn and Port Jefferson

      @the_elmeister  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oyster Bay gets a lot more service than Greenlawn. I’m pretty sure Greenlawn only has four trains in a day. Oyster Bay I think has more than double that amount. And second of all, trains that run on the Greenlawn branch they only go to Ronkonkoma. And I’m pretty certain that the Greenlawn branch doesn’t use signals, but I’m not certain because I’ve never went to Greenlawn before and I’ve only done a little bit of research on it.

    oyster bay is such a pretty name.
    unfortunately i feel like its the branch with the worst service patterns...?

      I mean, it gets a decent amount of service. I personally think the leg between Ronkonkoma and Greenport isn’t managed greatly because they only run like four trains per day over there and Greenport is far from the Montauk branch and you’d have to take a ferry just to go from Greenport to the Montauk branch. I personally think there should be more trains that go to Greenport and also I personally think there should be some rush-hour trains that go in both directions between Greenport and Jamaica or Penn Station because the Ronkonkoma branch could use additional service towards Greenport. If you’re coming from the North Fork and you’re trying to get to Manhattan and Queens, you could be expecting a 20 to 30 minute transfer at Ronkonkoma.

    35:48 almost sounded like an M-7 with no gaps or delays between each ASI, if it kept going after Oyster Bay
    44:04 too
