About debuff weakening... it should also affect "reaction activation reduction", therefore preserving/enabling her counter's utility to prevail even against reaction sealers - one can only trust innate (not inflicted) reaction block strategies against her.
I thought this as well, and tested it with Dialdo when he was released; and could not get either of his counters to trigger after getting hit with reaction cancel debuff.
1st, thank you for all the awesome videos each time Could you please do a video like "top 5/10/X units" per stat? Specially those kind of hidden stats, like crit rate/avoidance, accuracy/evasion... Always think about it when you mention " this unit is top 2 on HP/agility or whatever" Regards from Colombia
maybe the biggest downside with Raph is that she's the last big foresight unit. Lots of people have been saving for her for a very very very long time, and you're going to see her everywhere. She's good enough that it's warranted, but that also means everyone is going to prepare their teams to face a Raph tank.
What trust stone sets + passives would you recommend for her? I'm torn between HP and Barrier on the left side for elemental res or the healing up. As for passives I think the standard tank ones should be good enough: HP, Luck, CR Evade, Agility debuff res, ele atk & ele res debuffs.
When you said about her TMR and how Jump can be helpful and impactant on regroup strategy, at the same time i thougt on you putting a side video of you making some drafts on papper or tablet, and showing arrows of directions that she could go. Idk if you're a bleach fan, but Rukia used to make this to explain some stuff in the mid of battle xD its kinda fun, different and intertaining. I'm saying that bcz tonight on guild battle a foking zazan came straight on my Glaci on start battle and my accuracy is enough to kill him only if i buff first or use the 3x hit skill ( my gear is dps/ survivness based ). He lured my range atk and everything went to sheit with zero stamine xD. And i got mad bcz i lost hahaha
Hi Will! I was just wondering, how good is Raph post Sol/wAlaya? I have 42k at the moment and cant decide if I should get Sol or Raph right now. For context, my dark roster is stronger than my fire one but from what Ive read in reddit Raph is not as good as it used to be, and summer glaciela is the new gold standard for tanks. What do you think? Is Raph still worth it or is Sol the more future proof unit?
Unfortunately there's too many variables to give sample builds, at least for the kind of content I do. Builds are 100% matchup dependent, and everybody's meta is different depending on what part of the ladder they play on, what other teammates they have available, etc etc. The x's and o's matter far more than the builds. Truststones at this point arent terribly complex, Ive done a few videos teaching about how to think about them and what to choose.
one thing I dont think you mentioned but isnt she pretty horrible when it comes to AP management? Her LB is pretty ridiculous at 69 AP and she doesnt have enough high TP buffs for that to help much. I dont see any direct AP generation or consumption cuts. I know that the trial stages they give us for new units arent really the best indicators of how theyll function maxed out but I was having a TON of difficulty with her AP management. I had to spam all her TP skills and even then I was forced to do a few normal attacks anyway and as a mace user those attacks were doing nothing. So it seems to me that this is a pretty big issue for her and Im surprised it wasnt mentioned at all.
In that trial stage she's got no equips on whatsoever. But as a Mage she starts out with 75% of her total AP, so she should have basically no AP trouble at all, or at least be similar to other magic users. I just brought my 115 Raph into a stage (wotv calc is down at the moment) and she starts with roughly 150 AP. Shouldn't really be much trouble at all AP wise. The trial stage is misleading though because she's got nothing equipped
@@ReadyPlayerWill yea its really annoying that the trial stages dont really reflect how the units work when maxed and equipped >.< I just noticed that I ran out of AP very quickly even though she was a mage and then once out had no real option to get her back into the game, just had to stand there doing normal attack after normal attack. And then I looked at her kit and saw no ap regen nor any cuts in consumption so I thought it might be an actual issue. I got lucky and pulled Rysol on my second 10 summon and then Raph on the third :D and just finished building her to 115 so will see how she plays tonight and tomorrow. Thanks for your review as always!
I've been looking forward for Raph for a while...and now that shes here im not really excited about her. I have Dialdo and hes working just fine, and the new water tank Glacie is interesting to me, so i think she's a pass, although she seems like an amazing tank. thanks for your reviews as always.
Not to dispute your A- ranking on game disruption, but as I'm sure you're aware she is effectively the highest played unit in JP, alongide Alaya and Sephiroth depending on where in the ladder you look. She's more or less tied with Alaya among top 100 guilds on offense, and the further away you get from top 100 the higher Raph's (and Seph's) usage exceeds Alaya's. And I don't think I need to call attention to defense.
Hey man- really, really not trying to be the PC police here... but I'd look up the history of the term 'jipped'. Someone called out to me the racist history of it when I was using it all the time too and I intentionally removed it from my regular vocab. Something to consider, take it or leave it (only reason I am saying anything is I appreciated when someone told me and thought you might feel the same way.)
New review to watch while I edit WDL vids? Don't mind if I do!

@@JB79 aw. That's unfortunate, but at least now I know. Thank you for doing the test!

Whooaaaa new intro!

Wow, great intro. Gave me a melancholy feeling as we continue our journey on the road to EoS 💀

Why is the intro silent? Looks great btw!
Monetization infringement :( I gotta find a new song
think in the future, you should include sample builds, with TS, equipment, etc

Does the intro really have no BGM or is it a technical error? Just asking
I had to mute it for monetization reasons, sorry!!!

Imma Skip for summer Glassy
What kind of unit will she be?
Tank
Hits deep
There's no audio in your intro
Yeah I had to mute it for monetization reasons =/ need to find a new intro song

Newb question.. does she play on the same team as Alaya? Or only on full dark teams? 😅
