I ride my 06 quite often now after I let it sit for 5 years after I bought it. Rode through a set of brand new tires right after I bought it. Got married had a couple kids. Got it back out two years ago and I’m so glad I didn’t go ahead and sell it. My wife had a fit when I told her I was thinking about selling it. She’s a outstanding partner. I love my 919 so much it was my second motorcycle and it’s a perfect package. I do all the service on the bike as well as a couple others for a brother and my dad. The 919 is just excellent. This is a bike that any rider can get on and grin the entire ride. There’s just something about it that’s just one of a kind. It’s been very reliable and maintenance friendly. I got the bike with just under 7k miles and it now has 21k on it. It’s just a great bike all around.

Just bought myself a 2003 CB900F with only 4,000 mls. This is the third Hornet 900 I own. Love that bike!

I bought a Harley Sportster 1200 with 6,5xxx miles. In 2017 of November and the following year in November I picked my 2004 Honda Hornet 919 with 17,xxx miles in wonderful shape. I can't complain. Love them both..Ride on

I love my 2007 919 and will never sell it. I’m 285 lbs and it doesn’t know I’m on it. When you hit five grand you better be holding on because redline is a heartbeat away. It’s reliable, smooth, and low maintenance. I agree with the test rider and added the factory center stand and fly screen which does help on the highway. I also love the naked look and hate most of the plastic manufacturers hide their builds with. The 919 replaced my 1981 Suzuki GS 850G which had wonderful all day ride ergonomics and shaft drive but the 919 is much lighter and the performance is fantastic. I should have kept the Suzuki too.

We had this bike in the states back in 1994-2015. Awesome bike smokes anything from Yamaha, Suzuki or Kawi.

Looks like mine also maybe a little cleaner though!LOL it is an awesome machine for what it is a general all purpose bike. If you know how to ride she'll do most ever what you want. Mine has never overheated however these aren't putters per say and they don't like sitting at long lights and their fans will kick in. But like I said mine has never overheated and as soon as you get moving they cool down quite fast. What I really like about it is like I said if you know how she'll do most whatever you want and surprise a lot of people on purpose built sport bikes !! its always fun to see someone caught by surprise to look over and see ya right there hangin with them on their sport bikes!! : )

I’ve had both 600 and 900 hornets , brakes are better on 900, suspension is a bit stiff on 900 can make it feel jittery on rougher surfaces , rear shock seems to be the problem f you get one maybe consider aftermarket shock . 900 is very torquey , 600 is a screamer you can hit 85mph in second gear which makes for very nippy overtakes

I am thinking of getting a used 2003 for 2500 bucks. Is that a fair price?
