I have seen traditions and attitudes and behaviours in churches that were not biblical...they were like dead places ...no feeling or love.
This is now my Church and I am very grateful for it .Very useful teaching .
    Many Thanks.

Even believers can still give in to their old sinful natures. Not justifying it.

  • @shandilliazzz1062

Presenting before The Lord on the day of atonement by the high priest is The law for going into the holy of hollies, isn’t it? As far as I understand, ordinary priests are allowed to put on incense for the Lord as that is one of the jobs in the holy place that the priest have to do. Chapter 10:1 Does not indicate Aaron sons went into the holy of hollies but just said that They offered an authorised fire before the Lord. Pastor Paul, do you think “before the Lord” here means entering the holy of hollies? If not, those claims that they shouldn’t have taken the incense and did it on a wrong day are not established, are they?

Pastor, I understand that the sons broke God's law. however, so did Aaron himself. he made an idol for the people of God and many Jews died as a direct result of Aaron's actions. therefore, what accounts for mercy forgiven to Aaron and death for his sons? sin is sin. how do we explain this ? seems the proximity to God is the key factor.

Alfred Gomez you're right. Proximity is key. But it doesn't mean that proximity is only for a selected few. It really just is about your relationship with God and who you are in His eyes. Aaron and his generation - i believe- had that relationship and their characters were right with God. It's about being perfect, it's not about getting everything right. God didn't say we have to come to Him perfect. Although coming to Him in respect, humility etc.... Helps with 'proximity'. As for faith, as big as a mustard seed is a good place to start or be in. There is also a difference between pre and post Jesus, on how things were done. Have you ever watched the ted danson series the good place? You know what's the difference between God and the way they depict hell and it's employees, which i very amusing by the way, because if anything - even then - the devil can't win. So in this show, every time (ted danson) the demon gets its wrong (in season 2), he hits the reboot button and starts all over. God on the other hand has no reason to hit a reboot button on us. He doesn't need for us to wipe out or forget our past. And i think that works that way with the how He looks at sin. He sees it, He forgives and with time and experience we grow right? To be better. How could we possibly be better or learn not to make the same mistakes, if we need to erase sins from our memories? So what I'm trying to say is.... Sacrifice is made to give mercy and grace where sin exists. Our generation we rely on Jesus as the sacrifice....

So Aaron made some severe mistakes, but in this story... He was obedient. That's why they made the offerings no? To make a peace offering. So what I'm trying to say is.... Sacrifice is made to give mercy and grace where sin exists. Our generation we rely on Jesus as the sacrifice....

@@shobamacintyre6856 could it also be bcs of what exodus 32:26 says ? That the levites came to moses ? Like they choose to follow God rather than the calf ? So GOD gave them all a chance right ?

Also please understand that the whole knowledge of God no human knows it. So there are some things that only God can answer, though as we continue to study and hear the word of God we are learning more and gaining knowledge and wisdom to know His ways, and for us to be ready when the time comes that we die, are we ready? To meet God in the judgement day. That is why In everything we do, seek God first...

Where does in the bible said that the husband is the spiritual head of the family? The idea that the husband is the head came from societal expectations. Aren’t we are blessed through Jesus Christ alone? Isn’t that a sexist thing to say? I really wanna know. Thank you for your response.
