Just to help, with a managed switch that supports vlans, you can setup a trunkport to run a router with one port. There alot of tutorials on youtube that show you how. A little more work, but you get to learn something too.

@@batticha462 without any knowledge (on my part) of your current distributed internet connectivity its difficult for me to give you a definitive answer. this being said, I'll give you 2 scenarios of possible implementation, first being a DOCSIS modem being that this is typical. the modem connection would go to port 1 of the "new router" using a dhcp protocol issued IP address from the modem/internet provider. the second port would then be connected to an internal (to you) switch of some kind either managed or unmanaged. this switch would be configured to propagate either a single VLAN, or a collection of VLANs depending on your needs.if you already have a configured router, then why do this as a secondary? anywho, the setup would be similar using the router's internal DHCP service to issue an IP address to the new router and again propagate throughout your local network. there are THOUSANDS of related videos out here on utub to assist you in your journey. hope this helps.
Assalamu Alaikum I took the line through PPPOE from isp. I have done wifi zone with mikrotik router setup. My mikrotik router internet is running but when connecting another router from mikrotik router it shows no internet. Secondary router from isp is disabled. How can I use the internet on the secondary router now? please help
OPNsense seems to be an operating system for the network. Its the software needed for the hardware to function. Even if you have all the hardware prepared if the software isnt installed it wont work.

I used both, pfsense is far more stable

1 interface goes to your internet access, the other goes to your local distribution switch.

Disable your secondary router's DHCP. and your router connects in Mikrotik lan porn. I hope your problem will be solved.
