did you use blocks on the rear to lift the rear i wish you would gave more detail on how you did this and i hope you would do more trucks i hope you do a 60s trucks thank you wayne i hope you could give me more details on this great job you did on this truck and i know you did this out love for the modeling world for all to see thank you wayne alot of time went into this model
I used the frame from the amt 55 chevy kit. Used the front and rear axles and transfer case from the amt Ford Firestone truck kit. Custom built shock towers and driveshafts to fit the new frame.

Thanks for stopping by Dave. LOL, no I just got some inspiration and started going at this project hard. No, I got this model with the cab painted but that was it, all the rest was untouched. I did get my drivers license at the beginning of the month so now I can make a few trips to the hobby store and get that R-model when it comes out.

Yes dad.. lol. I only have 2 classes to worry about this year, cause the rest of the day I'm taking an auto mechanics class. Next year, I'll be full day at the diesel technology program.
