How Long to Dry Your Hay Before Bailing

How does your square bale loader attach to your trailer. I just bought a loader like yours.

What kind of soil is on your place? I’m out in the Abilene Tx and looking to do 10 acres in coastal but my place is the red dirt clay soil and kinda considered about it because most areas you see growing lots of coastal is sandy.

I have always liked the "Big Country" Abilene area! We have a sandy loam in the Tyler, East Texas area.

Hybrid Coastal loves sandy dry land........ We Do our own sprigging......Plus operate a rebaling operation converting 4x5 rounds into Small Squares to supply TSC stores in our area........

Great question, a hay tedder would be a great piece of equipment to aide in curing. In this case, we had a great wind that day that did the trick for us. Tedding hay will aide in drying, but increases soil compaction.
