Both this version and the Faerin version are essentially the same fight, with some subtle differences to make them unique. As such, I approached the two a bit differently. For the Faelin version, I took my time to showcase the fight a little more and see all of the attacks. For the Faerin version, I went for a burn strat to show it going a little bit faster (mainly because I already did a slower kill of that on Nightmare). Either way, I think it keeps a decent balance between the two.
As I've said on the other videos: I wanted to do my first apoc playthrough using a more standard generic build, to focus on showcasing the boss attacks, rather than the build itself. But I figure at this point I can show off some of the build ideas I had while playing, despite them being pretty overpowered and making short work of all the bosses. Considering the full apoc playthrough was mostly with a similar generic setup, I'm thinking about the overall quality of the final compilation of all bosses on apocalypse with no damage. As I'll be weaving in the bosses between each planet, it should create a nice mix of a generic build with slower fights, and some quicker fights with a strong build like shown here.

You never fail to impress me even though I've known what to expect from you since I watched your Destiny 2 content years ago. This guy had me banging my head against the wall for almost 4 hours straight on my apocalypse run, such an awesome fight though
Three of us beat him on veteran tonight on our third attempt. I can’t imagine doing it solo - there is so much stuff going on in that fight. Yet you make it look easy. Well done.
This game is amazing. I didn't think this boss could get any more awesome, then in his last phase he starts pulling out moves like Vergil from Devil May Cry 3

Mine had the hearty buff and it was one of the worst experiences Ive had fighting a boss... once you get him to the last 1/4 bar of health he is invisible most of the time performing 1 shot mechanics over and over while only giving you just a few seconds to do damage to his gigantic health pool before hes invulnerable again... not a good boss design at all.
for me he seems to nonstop spam his sword swings and i eventually just run out of stamina... so im screwed, almost everything else is cake for me at this point, but i can't figure out how to get him to stop his melee spam
can someone tell me what eso use in this game, im new to remnant only started playing 2 days ago, much appreciated.
This guy's attack timing is killing me right now. I keep dodging too early because he just pauses there sometimes. Gunfire did well to fool you for this boss!
Still struggling a little with that last 3rd phase. I've only killed him twice; once on nightmare solo and another on vet coop with friends. Both times it felt like a fluke and the I could've played that cleaner. Not sure exactly how to cleanly dodge and what the telegraphs are, especially on that last phase. Looks like for the big single sword drops, there's like puffs of smoke/dust that tells where they're gonna land? And the cloud of small barrage swords are just random? Does his mirror reflection (Faerin's reflection) on the ground have any bearing on Faelin's actual location when he exits out of stealth?

Just curious what’s your in game sens at? I was going between 5 and 10 but didn’t feel a difference at all.
What is this boss' instant death mechanic? I'm fighting him on Apoc and he keeps raising his hands into the air and just insta-killing me. (I literally have Void Cloak on and it kills me through it)
yeah I came here to seek answers to that too but it seems to be rng. I found it is roll-able however. So just watch for the yellow thing around you and roll accordingly....
@@JaKeCaKez Yeah I just finished the boss a bit ago and will probably only remember it for how stupid that mechanic was.
Now do it with boss buffs as hearty/thick skinned… that last phase is gonna make me lose my mind

Ive just killed Faelin on Apocalypse and tbh its one of harder fight's Ive had in DS games. The issue was last phase, DPS windows are quite short, and there is ALOT of things going on on screen, and one shot mechanic from the Shockweave jump hes doing ... couldnt time it right with so much distraction going on. btw. Enginner / Summoner build with minigun doing 90% of work.
it's because Remnant's best boss is From Software's worst boss.
The 3d phase on apocalypse i keep getting one shotted at full health cant find a way to dodge trough it successfully 😢

Absolutely hated him on Nightmare and to see you destroy him in Apocalypse is a treat. GG. I definitely prefer fighting Nightweaver over this guy though i think people generally find Nightweaver tougher.
do you have to do this in adventure mode or something? i just beat the story and never knew how to progress after accusing one of the 3 members
You can reroll to get it in adventure, but it could've appeared in campaign too. The bosses for each playthrough will be random, if you get Losomn and it starts at Morrow Parish, you'll get Nightweaver as the main boss. Otherwise if it starts at the palace, you'll get Faelin/Faerin

It's literally the storyline of Losomn lol.
Faerin and Faelin are the two entities possessing the same suit of armor at different times. You get a reward depending on who you kill. Kill Faelin and you get a ranged weapon. Kill Faerin and you get a melee weapon

this boss fight ruined the game for me, it was just a microcosm with everything wrong with this game, the false boss sits the exact place where you meet the first one? makes no sense but anyway the fight is hard to beat, your constantly moving and there’s like 5% chance to not get hit everytime you look behind you to shoot one bullet, and i’m not going to calculate his every movement and mechanic just to have a standing chance, this game is the oppisite of dynamic and I just wish someone actually play tested this
