Wow!! Absolutely gorgeous!! I’m so happy that @Kanellaciraco highly recommended her viewers to check you out!! This is the 1st video I’ve watched & I’m hooked!! New subscriber for sure!!
Absolute stunner Erica! You’re not doing my bank balance any good you know. Every time I see another of your pours I see another colour I just have to have. Just ordered some more colourarte colours from you. 😂
Just one question. I know you started doing Dutch pours like Rinske by putting your colours down but then basically swamping your colours by blowing your base colour over then blowing out. At what point did you change that and was there a particular reason for that? I noticed you and Kanella used to do it but neither do now.
This is gorgeous, Erica!! I love everything about it. Please let us know when the rounds are ready on TH-cam, too. I do get into the group, but I’m not in FB but a couple of times a week. ❤️
Love the base colours absolutely stunning. But even all the top colours it just mix and match so well together. Thank you so much for a great video xx 😘
Hello Éric, I am à real beginner, i was taught to mix my paint, school glue and water, i wanted to know is it better with school glue or with foetrol...??🤗💕👍👏😀😉🌻💋👋
So pretty! Is that mdf round prepped with anything? It looks raw and I’m able to get mdf scraps at work and was going to try to perfect a Dutch pour using the scraps rather than canvases. It doesn’t look like there is anything but I wondered because maybe it was clear. Thanks!
What type of wood are you using and did you do any prep to it prior to pouring? This has always confused me why some prime or gesso the wood first and others do not. Any advise would be much appreciated.
Absolutely gorgeous Erica! I truly love your art! You are so great at choosing such complimentary colour palettes. I'm having problems trying to find the Golden gel gloss here in Australia, to mix with my Primary Elements and was wondering if you think that maybe a different brand gloss gel might work, and if you actually tried any other brands? Stay well and happy! 😀💜🐨🙋♀️🥰⚘
Hi Sue! I personally haven't tried another brand but I have heard the liquitex gloss gel works but again I haven't used it personally. Hope that helps!
So beautiful!! Someone help me, please! My paintings often get cracked after drying. And I don't know why. I'm not using too much paint, that's what I know for sure :(
It could be possible your paint is too thick. Try getting it to a consistency where is Slightly mounds at the top before sinking back in the paint. Goodluck!
Hey there, quick question: for people who are still learning how to paint pour, is there a good white or black base paint that can be used for testing in case it goes wrong? I've been using some of the nicer acrylics but I think it's time to dial it back because some pours at the beginning turn out very unfortunate and it's getting expensive using all that white and black for the base lol. Any recommendations for a good budget white or black paint? Thanks!
I've recently started adding USA floetrol to extend my base paints for larger pours because yes it gets expensive. I have used Blickrylic paint for the base before. You can get that at dickblick.com
I LOVE these colors! I’ve been TRYING and TRYING to create A design using these colors, so I can make a clock out of it. But I KEEP having the same problem over and over….& that is that whenever, almost every time I try a Dutch pour, my paint ends up SINKING as it as it settles, so it’ll look beautiful right when I blow it out, but then after about 15 mins, it looks all screwed up!! And I usually just blow out the base layer w/a hair dryer, so there’s not “puddles” of paint on the base layer…so it’s not super deep, and frankly NO WAY it should be able to do that. I need help!! HELP PLEASE!
"....because I HAVE to tell you everything that I do here. Lol that's not exactly accurate. I came here for advice on color layering for Dutch Ford and there was none of that. Lots of product discussion and self-promotion though. I'm noticed this with many of the "pros" lately. I guess the competition is getting pretty strong by now. I'll just remove this one t o o. Tammy Anderson never fails to instruct so it's best to keep with what works. LOL
Love the black and white background
This is beautiful, Erica! I know this is an oldie for you, but all your work just started showing in my feed so it is new to me! 😍😉
You’ve inspired me to use these colors to do a CLOCK!! Exactly the same size you did it. Wish I could send you the results!!
