Now the SWAC needs to start going to the D1-AA playoffs. It’s a crying shame Florida A&A made it but Jackson St didn’t because for some reason the SWAC doesn’t participate. That should of been one of the first things Prime got changed. I believe JSU can win a D1-AA National title

    • @decline1129

@@thesupervisor3270 JSU didn't make it because the conference championship game happens on the same day as the opening round of the FCS playoffs. As a JSU fan, I would've rather to go to the FCS playoffs but unfortunately ESPN has the SWAC and the MEAC by contract to send their conference champion to the Celebration Bowl for at least 4-5 more years and with the Conference Championship happening so late, that made it impossible. If it wasn't for that, JSU would've gotten in the FCS playoffs before FAMU did. I would like the SWAC to somehow get out of the contract or at least make it optional whether the conference champion wants to go to the Celebration Bowl or compete for a national championship.

If a guy shows he has the potential and talent to excel at the NFL level, NFL GM’s won’t care where a guy went to school. Look at how many guys in the NFL that have been pro bowlers, HOFers, Super Bowl champions that went to FCS or G5 schools.

How does a rumor help?… There was no NIL deal. Why can’t y’all accept that he chose to go to an HBCU and get coached by the best player to ever play his position?

All for money from an outside corporation. College football is ruined until they regulate the hell out of NIL deals.

For you to say he more than likely made his decision bc of money purposes is beyond me disrespectful not only to him but the community who is behind him . I hate the fact you tried to drag your ignorant reasoning to why he chose Jackson State . Let’s be real it’s a new day of age and the melanin community is growing stronger and wiser . This decision will lead to more top recruits who are African males transition to hbcu’s which will then lead to more money for these colleges . All of these “major D1s” are who they are bc of the genera of players they receive…… LETS BE REAL ! This is about to change the life of college football . Now pin this comment!

He is a very young man and he has the right to choose and college he want to he don't just have to go to Florida State Florida State Miami Alabama Clemson Ohio Notre Dame all of them all they ever get is five-star. All these guys to play for them to put their schools on the map without the full Stars by stars they would be nothing they need those guys so they should not be upset by Deion Sanders getting a five-star he trying to even the playing field and he's doing a excellent job by doing what he did

Congrats on history being made (Or at least recent history) as we all know HBCUs used to have all of the elite recruits back when schools were segregated. This is a huge feather in the cap for Deion because if he can land the #1 recruit at JSU, just imagine if he were at a major university

Everyone saying he did it for the money... He was going to get paid either way!! Now think about getting paid in college and than having the best cornerback to play the game groom you for the league, he will get an even bigger check when he decides to go to the draft. He made the right decision if you can't see that you're blind.
