It's a testament to the standard of excellence at Clayton Restorations- Mark Clayton and team do a superb job. Perhaps you can visit one day Dennis and do a feature.
Just a personal story. An elderly gentleman in Long Beach had a1938 Packard parked in his driveway. It had a disassembled engine. He finally agreed to sell it to me, for $35! Pop wouldn't allow it. Broke my heart.
itd be cool if they converted the 3 speed to a 5 speed at least, i know its for originality and you would not drive something like that on the road enough to have a 5 speed, but only shifting 3 times seems kinda boring imo, i drove a 2016 6 speed mazda for 3 years and i cant imagine driving a 3 speed
I love American classic cars and trucks.
The kind of dignified elegance that NOBODY can do nowadays !

I got a question for you Dennis......... How does this one compare to Jay's '32 Packard Twin Six??? Another great video..........
Does that engine get good gas mileage and will it fit in my Honda civic?
Marquee? Marque?
You mean Mark Wahlberg?!
@@MyClassicCarTV Hahaha! I didn't even notice what I did there. You're the man, Dennis!

Except for starting, 1st gear was rarely used. Torque was immense. So, it was essentially a 2 speed car.
