Connecting AV small mini video console to a TV

- 1) Connect power adapter to console and to power outlet
2) Connect black wire to console and 3 white, red, yellow (new TVs may not have all of them but will have an adapter)
3) connect a controller
4) turn on TV, choose source "AV"
5) make sure all connectors are connected all the way in, and turn on the console, sometimes You may need to do a reset, then choose "English" and a game a play

@@landvan new TVs often do not have AV connection so some sort of adapter is required, either as in the video or just and AV to HDMI adapter

it could be a defective AV cord, or a defective console. You may try to plug everything off and then back on
Hi..we have the same mini console ..may cable have white and red tubes..i connected the white to yellow on the tv and the red on red..audio is good but the video is black and white and no visible images..need help thnx..
try to experiment if you can, also keep in mind that these cheap chinese consoles are sometimes like this right out of the box. Maybe a different cord would help, maybe it's an issue with the console, maybe you need can plug it in through some adapter, maybe try another TV.

I am not sure, would be something like AV adapter. So it has 3 AV female one side, and 1 male that connects to TV and TV recognizes it as AV. Many TVs have just old AV inputs in the TV.

Does anyone know where to get the power adapter because my little brother got one for Christmas and they forgot to give him the power adapter
depending on what power connection this console has. If it is micro usb into console, then you can use most of the micro usb + usb power adapters like from old Android phones. If it is something circle that goes into console, then it's more complicated. You need to ask the seller to send one
PLEASE HELP ME. I got sent one with 400 n it didn't with so than they sent the one you have but when I put colored wires where they go, I very nada. Do I need the weird chords you had hanging? Also my t.v is glassy screen boy not smart. I gave 5 different sources n usually DVD n games are on av/comp but nothing.... please help
you could have got a non-working console. These are cheap chinese consoles, they often break and so on. You can also try to a find an adapter from AV to HDMI and connect it that way.
Mine came with the adapter and av, but my insignia fire tv doesn't have the av option that you picked. I tried every input available and still nothing

looks like they forgot to put one in. All consoles should come with 1. Consoles are different and may require different kinds of RCA cables (consoles have different input on their side), you need to find one that is exactly the same. I would check Amazon or Walmart online. But seller is the one who is responsible for that

@@AmyDuarteDesigns there are several kinds of these chinese consoles, and they may use different kinds of RCA cables. Input into console can be different. The thing is that it really had to come with RCA cable, your seller didn't check and test the console.

most of phone power adapters are good, and if you have micro usb to plug into the console - it will be pretty easy to find as well, all old androids use them and many other devices or cheaply on eBay.

this one is cheap Chinese thing, I wouldn't speak highly of it. Much better to get an authentic one that is modified where You can save game progress etc

But You can try something different like:
RCA or Composite to HDMI adapter or converter. I saw some that come like a box, so on one side you plug in white, yellow, red cables and HDMI to the other

I think You are better of returning it to the seller. I've seen these fake consoles with different kinds of cables, it will not be easy to guess which one You need.
I have the same consoles but when I put the cables on the TV it gets jammed and i have a Vortex TV
maybe a defective console or wires. These are cheap Chinese consoles after all.

AV or component or composite. Sometimes you may want to try on another TV. These Chinese consoles are pretty bad, it might be just a defective unit. You may need to return it to the seller.

make sure the sounds source is set to TV, not to speakers. if that does not help then: either cord or console is bad

if you don't have an adapter or an old TV, you would have to buy one to play. Some TVs come with adapters like this. Easier to buy another kind, that is like a small box, one side HDMI to connect to a TV/monitor, other side AV inputs

not sure, it came together with that Samsung TV. A simpler thing would just an AV to HDMI adapter, which looks like a square thing that has HDMI going into monitor/TV and on the other side female AV inputs

AV - sometimes composite cable, sometimes compound cable. There can be different models that require different cables

Yes that’s a smart TV. That Samsung model already came with an adapter that is in the video.
You can just get a AV to HDMI adapter and it will work with any modern TV.

there are other kinds, you can buy on amazon/walmart/ebay. Looks like a box in which you plug in AV cords and on the other side you have HDMI cord

my tv doesn’t have the yellow put thing, and it’s not some cheap ass tv, it’s a newer tv, so why doesn’t have it
that TV had yellow input to plug in adapter with red yellow white inputs. Some TVs have the yellow/white/red inputs. Some new TVs don't have them at all. Old AV/RCA/Composite/Component Inputs are outdated now.
Anyway it is better to get HDMI console, graphics is better

Your console is a clone of something I have and a lot of people have what I have too. I have an NES Classic Edition.
You are right, the clone consoles are no match for Nintendo, but they have many games from the start and are cheap

I think it’s just something that Samsung has and it came with that adapter. Easier way to do it is to buy av/component/composite to hdmi adapter. I should make a video for that as well

You need AV to HDMI adapter. So that you put colored cables into adapter and on the other side of the adapter you plug in HDMI cable in it and the other end of HDMI cable to TV

so basically if you don't have AV input in your TV/monitor - you need some kind of adapter. In my case there was that came with a TV, usually you would need some AV to HDMI adapter - will work same way

make sure you connect everything correctly, then turn on the console, wait a bit. After all it is possible that You bought a defective one. These chinese console have high (like 5+% defect rate). Also some TVs for some reason just don't like these consoles, so they might work on one but not on the other. Contact your seller, maybe they sold you one without testing

I made one, but nobody watches it. Basically there is a way to connect any old AV console to any HDMI TV. You just need AV to HDMI adapter. Can be called also composite/component to HDMI adapter. So this will apply to all TVs
