One thing is for sure... BTS is not like any other band from Asia or otherwise, that I've seen. They demand perfection from themselves and deliver. So fun! Glad you watched the Busan concert through! That really was fire! I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure this performance had subtitles. I'm sure ARMY has already said it plenty, but just in case... you really need to know what they are saying. Especially with the rappers... they spit bars that you don't want to miss. The words and music together are what an artist is trying to convey so just mentioning it in hopes that you will try to check out both as you move further in your journey. Their documentaries are so good! Almost all did one and they are so different because they chose how they wanted to put their albums together and how they wanted to unveil it and promote them. Yoongi is the only one that did a whole world tour and it was so sick!! The concept of destroying both of his other personas until there is basically Yoongi left, included the deconstruction of the stage throughout the concert as well. They conceptualize details from lyrics and flow down to fits, choreo, locations, live bands or not, and set. Unlike the Kpop industry, their company (Hybe) does not dictate anything for them. They only help provide what the boys want in order to be who they are and present what they want in the way they want. That is why you can't group them into KPOP. As brief as possible: They started as a hip hop group then added vocals and choreo of the kpop world at a time when that wasn't the norm. As a result, they were shunned by both the Hip Hop world (who considered them sell-outs and falsely assumed they wouldn't be part of the creative process) and the kpop world (who considered too free and non-conformist to the impossible idol standards). The Kpop industry actively worked (with their billions of $) to keep them off Korean airwaves and out of KMedia to keep them down... for over 10 years and including now. They only claim them when it is a benefit for them to claim BTS as KPOP. Because BTS used means that did not involve the industry and ventured on their own and succeeded globally, most of the KPOP and KMedia outlets hold an even bigger grudge now. Still... KPOP was part of their beginning and they've never said they aren't KPOP... their company being bigger than all of that industry now anyway... it doesn't really matter. They have a song called IDOL where they came to terms with what the world would label them and said "You can call me Idol or You can call me Artist... I don't care... I am what I am and I do what I want." And they always have. Most artists in the KPOP industry today (90%+) still aren't even allowed to participate in the creative process. So that tends to be why a lot of BTS fans are not also fans of other KPOP idols. Glad you are checking them out with live bands. The boys have expressed, many times, how much they love having the live bands and ARMY loves it too. I have been thrilled to see that as a trend through their solo era. Couldn't believe when they did that for Busan. It was so fire!!
I think when I'm done watching all of their performances with live musicians is when I dig digger into their studio tracks along with the lyrics :))), thanks for the amazing lore!!!!
I think you mistakenly believe that HYBE or Big Hit have any say over the BTS members musical descions. They don't. Even the CEO of Big Hit said his job is to find out what BTS wants and get it for them. The BTS members have total control of their music
my guy, there's no way to not enjoy bts live performances, solo or ot7. they give 120 percent every time and take so much care that the audience is enjoying it as much as them. busan concert, yoongi (suga aka agust d) world tour, hobi (j hope) at lollapalooza, jin appearing at a coldplay concert in argentina before going into military, are maybe some of their most recent lives, and SO GOOD. well there's actually a bunch more but.. don't want to overwhelm. just. it looks like you would enjoy discovering bts music a lot.
Thank you for reacting to Yoongi.... Agust D is the name he goes by for his solo career. It's Suga backwards and add DT makes Agust D (Dt is where he is from Daegu Town). Suga is his stage name with Bts. Yes you are pronounce his name correctly. He is all so a producer for bts and other artists. You need to react to Agust D in concert with his live band. He also played the guiter and piano during his concert. Also you need to react to Snooze from him ft. Ryuichi Sakamoto and Woo-sung from The Rose.
@@DrumRoastthe entire concert is like 2 hrs, but here’s a clip of some of the opening songs: th-cam.com/video/B304XjU0L5g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=SwlkmkO6IAyvNKoi
@@DrumRoastRM and J-Hope, both feature a live band in their performances. The video I'm recommending is a fanmade video, but she did it so well, and used clips from his Documentary and live performance. please react to this one. If they have a live band, it's not pre-recorded. If it's pre-recorded, there will not be a live band. BTS does not lip sync, or fake music playing. They might use a backing track, but if they did, it was probably just the Daechwita sample. *Daechwita* - is a genre of Korean traditional music consisting of military music played by wind and percussion instruments, generally performed while the ARMY is marching or as a static performance usually when the King is arriving. (Suga aka Agust D meant the BTS ARMY to be implied.) Agust D (feat. Riuchi Sakamoto & Woosung) Snooze Eng. subs - th-cam.com/video/zCNqdvR9e_w/w-d-xo.html
A lot of people say Agust D is his solo career artist name, but I disagree. It's more of a persona. Agust D has a full storyline and themes (anger, injustice, depression and eventually healing) even a physical characteristic in the mvs (the scar), and although it's very much based on Yoongi's (real name) life, he has said in interviews that he finished the trilogy he had planned for Agust D with the three albums he came out with, it just happens that it's all of his solo work so far. When he was aked (for the armys, in the palette episode) if it meant he was done with Agust D and he would come out with Suga solo work from now on, he basically said it would just make sense. A lot of his features are already under the name of Suga of BTS, even tho he's the only one of the group on the song. I just wanted to clarify for those not as familiar with his work but interested!
Suga's underground name was Gloss which is the English translation of his name. BTS always has done solo music during their career. Boracity magazine has mentioned it a few times in her video essays, too. People seem to forget that. It is in her guide for BTS, too. Military service (mandatory) opened up them to create more of their own sound because some of that got swallowed by the group - their solo albums are very different. We will get them back in June as a group and we are getting an anniversary project for their HYYH era. There has also a lot of pre-recorded music/albums that came out while the member was already serving in the military like RM's critical aclaimed album "Right Place Wrong Person" and Jimin's album "Muse". But I agree with listening to Snooze and reading the lyrics. There is a FMV (fan music video) that uses clips from his documentary "Road to D-Day" which shows how the album was made - it has subtitles and clips also from the live performance. You will love the lyrics! Asian Entertainment and Culture made two vids about BTS being bigger then Kpop - in one she mentioned what BTS has done for Korean music and Korean traditional music istruments/sound. That was an interesting fact. He also had a liveband for his tour "D-Day" - who he introduced at the end of each concert.
"We will get them back in June" I think they will break the internet the day they upload a new song, live or studio...Agust D blu ray is on my list but it's 200 American bucks 😁😁😁 THANK YOU so much for the lore, I should say Korean groups from here on, they are much more than K-pop!!!
@@DrumRoast It's a question of which group/solist. HYBE groups are usually interesting (Seventeen - self-produced even before they became a HYBE group, TXT, Enhypen, &Team, Boynextdoor, TWS, Le Sserafim, Illit and Katseye) - with the exception of NewJeans (that is a complicated mess we still have to get to the bottom of), artists like (G)I-dle and Stray kids are supposedly also interesting lyric wise (I don't know them well enough). You will have to explore them better than I did before you know if they are or are not. But if you want interesting lore than there are also groups like The KngDom (Excalibur was their first title track) who have lore about ancient/mythical kingdoms. And if you want to be blown away by voice there is the crossover group Forestella. If you are more interested in Hiphop Epik High, Drunken Tiger/Tiger JK, Balming Tiger, MFBTY and yoonmirae may be your thing. R&B are for example Crush and i think Dean is known for it. Or maybe Rock like "The Rose". There are also solists like IU. Have fun exploring!
I love the instrumentation of this song! Suga is very into using traditional instruments, he even mentioned wanting to make a documentary series where he would travel around working with different experts on traditional music. I hope he does it eventually!
@@shockofthenew sounds like it would be a very interesting series. On one occasion Jimmy Fallon (I think) passed Suga a haegeum, it appeared to have only 2 strings. Suga said he had never actually played one he made the music on his computer.
@@judyburgess3357 Yes, I don't think he actually plays any traditional instruments so he's working with samples. He does like learning new instruments though, it's not impossible he could learn to play someday! But it would be cool to see him work with experts in person.
Yes that live performance was so amazing I love the concert version with the energy of the audience, but that one with the traditional instruments live is as you said such cultural and artistic choice and that fits so well lyrically (Daechwita being the name of the instruments when the army was marching with the king in Korean's ancient times etc... so many layers)! I just love that fact that he produces, writes all hisbsolo stuff his artistuc vision is so impressive! And yes it's great for anyone but from a musican/ producer perspective his documentary is GOLD!! Rambling a bit but thx for the reaction and keep on with this journey you wont be disappointed was my point haha!
His concert D-Day was amazing! I highly recommend watching "A guide to bts members: the Bangtan 7" by Taylor Mari. It's a great guide and helps you understand more about them as individuals but also a group. He went by Suga first in BTS but when he released his solo mixtape on soundcloud in 2016 he went by Agust D (self titled album), he did give army a little teaser tho in BTS' song by the rapline Cypher pt. 3 released in 2014 he announced his alter ego "Agust D" so he probably had that name planned for a while. This guy is so crazy talented I mean all the members are for sure but the rapline in BTS was a big driving force of the group and their messages in their music from the beginning & the vocal line took that inspiration and ran with it. They all learned a lot from each other and went thru a lot together.
JHope at Chicago Lollapalooza with live band is super awesome. You can find it in TH-cam. Also , just now at Paris Gala Show is with love orchestra + band.
The Gala performance is phenomenal. Because it's his comeback after a year and a half serving in the militarily. He was So Very Nervous. He didn't know if he still had "IT." I assure you he does. Find the official Gala video recorded professionally!
if you like the whole group live with band I recommend PROOF live , it's from their YT channel so it should not be blocked, also the whole Dday Agust D concert is chef's kiss, with same band from here. basically this band had done performances with solo with Jimin and Jin solo performances.
yes proof was actually on my list already, freakin stoked for that!!! I found a fan cam of the entire Agust D concert...probably gonna with that before checking out the blu ray for that same concert, is nearly 200 American bucks on ebay 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@ if you like some concert content I suggest tou check YT channel Enjoy BTS More, however i have seen reactors get copyrighted if they do post their reactions .
@ also to add regarding live clips from Jin: Ill be ther and running wild live clips; Jimin “Rebirth+Slow Dance” live clip. Both of these clips have the same band with Agust D. then for RM I suggest his Tiny Desk Korea performance for his Indigo album promo. All of these are from Bangtan TV channel sothey are ok to post.thank you for checking on them
I know you Love Live Performances, but please watch his highly creative MV mini movie of "Daechwita." It's stunningly exquisite. You'll be able to put the Live Performance in context of the Korean culture. You'll see Suga acting...as 2 characters. You'll see the amazing quality productions BTS's company puts out. And again, we want you to fully experience the talent of Suga. He is an amazing human being. A genius. Pronounciation of AgustD. Just like the month, August. It's his name backward. With the initials of his hometown backward. Please. At least once. Watch his MV. Then you'll understand after each Live Performance, we will ask you to watch their MV.. Whether or not you choose to do that. Just so you know, you can find a clip of the first 2 songs of the Busan concert on TH-cam. "Mic Drop" and RunBTS". The whole concert is with a Live Band. There are other clips of that concert. In fact, one channel has 14 videos where you can watch the whole concert video after video. Enjoy your BTS journey. We are here for you. ❤
holy smokes so much content this is freakin awesome ❤❤❤ yes I watched that entire concert on Amazon, I screamed like a little girl on my couch, thanks for helping me in my journey, the Army has been very helpful and supportive and I'm loving it 🥰🥰🥰
I also suggeste you to watching the documentary he take us with him in the process of making the album and present us with a collection of live performances from the album And meeting with his idol the Famous Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto who inspired him to make music .
BTS always sing live, they use a backing track when also dancing…but they still sing live most of the song. In concerts Sugar will usually in a song stop singing for a few beats so all can hear NO backing tract.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰I have to rewatch these twice to also pay closer attention to the lyrics, as a musician I tend to get drawn too much to the instruments...thanks for the suggestion :)
1:50 Lots have already clarified Yoongi's stage names, but I'll also just add that prior to BTS when Yoongi was still an underground rapper in Daegu he went by the stage name Gloss. So it was Gloss, then Suga and then by 2014 he actually teased the name Agust D in a BTS cypher as his aka for solo music.
BTS always has a live band at their concerts. Suga had a solo tour with a live band and I’m sure Jhope will too on his tour that starts Feb 28. Most of the solo member live performances also have live bands. FYI-They are NOT on “hiatus” (using the western definition which means a break-up), they are “On a break from group activities while they do their solo projects and military service”. They all signed new contracts and each one has talked about how they can’t wait to be back together and perform together. Jin & Jhope finished military in 2024 and the other 5 get out in June 2025. They each had at least 1 solo album during the break (aka Chapter 2) but Jhope, RM and Jimin each did 2 albums (2nd albums of those 3 were released DURING military service), and JHope’s 3rd album is expected before his tour starts Feb 28, or maybe the same date. Jin had one song before going into the military and had his first album in 2024 when he got out. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Hiatus means rest from .....whatever activety is your norma. So yeah it's the American media that changed the meaning of word to disband. We Brit's are fecking annoyed with them for doing that and as ARMY it's even more bloody annoying. The Americans are always bastardising the English language.
@@eileencritchley4630hiatus means the same thing in America. The thing is nobody but ARMY believed the hiatus was a hiatus because boy groups have a reputation of announcing them but never returning to group activities. That’s why people associate a boy band “hiatus” with a “break up”.
They do it themselves the studio version he used traditional instruments as well. This is writen, composed and produced by him he was signed on a Rapper/Producer and within the BTS members he's the main BTS Producer and he writes and produces for other artists. He's an award winning Producer for other artists. He studio is called Genius Lab. So if you see on a track Produce at Genius lab you know it's a Suga (aka Agust is the producer) BTS this is the first part of a triology of songs, this one his D2 album and the next 2 are on his D-Day album. eg Heageum and Armygadala.
The band was great, they were traveling with him on tour they did 28 stops (the right side, not the tradicional instrument)... So all clips from his solo concert are cool. They later worked with rest of BTS members too... There is live performance of "Dynamite" that JK plays drums (and sings) when they perform it from 'Music on the mission'.
@@DrumRoast i thought you will like this info if drums are your thing.... But I will add that JK isn't in any way trained drummer, he is simply very curious person like to try new things, learn new things, so he learned drums, Suga also uses drums kit when he makes music, he has one in his studio he said he is learning more, so he also has idea how things work. Hmm ahh to add to info about tour, the person that plays guitar in the band is actually the person from who Suga learned playing guitar, he knew how to play before but he learned by himself, and it was enought to to make music and generaly play, but when he decided that he wanted to play it on concerts too (he played both acustic and eg) he took lessons from this guy and later they were touring together... Sorry soo much lore.... 🫣
Daechwita. Phonetically Didge uh tah. There is a silent w in the word. The reason there were original Korean instruments...that's what a Daechwita is. It's a band of Koreans playing the unique old cutural instruments. They march in front of the King...announcing his Royal arrival. Yes to watching the documentary. Also, Suga's Live Concert with a Live Performing Band is awesome. His album "D-Day" is featured. Find the very last day of his concert. His performance is so full of emotion. It's the end of his concert tour. But more importantly, his songs are about some of his friends who he deeply loved. In one song he starts crying and the audience sings for him. It's the most emotional, raw, pure of heart, gut-wrenching concert I've ever seen. It could be just because we know Suga so well and know every trauma he has perservered through. Please find it and watch it whether you react to it or not. Enjoy.
Thank you for this reaction and your informative comments. You should definitely watch the whole doco - it's excellent from start to finish and gives insight into Yoongi's journey as he created his album. He sings a bunch of songs here, always with the live band so that should be a treat for you. Another treat for you would be Jin's live showcase for his Happy album. I would specifically suggest The Astronaut - there is a clip by Enjoy BTS More with English subtitles but from your point of view, the extended instrumental outro should satisfy your instrument nerd. Btw, using traditional Korean instruments is Yoongi's decision - Hybe did not have anything to do with his artistic choices.
oh yea Jin's live showcase is on my list too, it's a pretty dope concert, lots of high quality audio/video, THANK you for recognizing my instrument nerd side 🤣🤣🤣
Omg i love your reactions about Daechwita. SUGA IS the only Korean rapper to ever use the Korean traditional instrument into his rap music. I Suggest to check Haegeum live performance. He uses another Korean traditional instrument called matching the song Haegeum 😅 You will be amazed more .👍
Suga Band/Bangtan Band who went on tour with Suga are: Park Shin-won: Guitarist),Kim Jin-heon: Drums, Lee Yeon-jun: Bassist and Kim Chang-hyun: Keyboard. This band also did Jin's live performances, Jimin's live perfomances and will be going on tour with Jhope.
I know someone recommended the bangtan 7 guide, but I think it's better to do boracity's guide first, it's shorter and more straight forward, it's the one armys are recommending more for first timers now.
@@DrumRoast Just ask, if there is anything, we know more about them than their mothers. I used to say that as a joke byutthem second youngest of them admitted that we know them better than theirown mothers. and it was also tested that we know them better than themselves ;D there was BTS quiz that their staff made for them that had to answer about themselves and each other. (they also know each other like themselves! - they lived together about 10 years, some way longer.) And ARMY knew the answers, but they themselves could not remember everything :D
a lot of content was being released around this time, along with agust d's world tour so i feel like this set of documentary songs are often overlooked -- that being said, i think they are so freaking iconic, especially the live instruments and absence of backing track for yoongi ... he is phenomenal and his stage presence in LA was jaw-dropping ...
If you're going to watch Suga's Agust D's work, start with his first mixtape, 2016 Agust D. Then go to his second mixtape, 2020 D-2. Last is his first album in his Agust D trilogy, 2023 D-Day!!! Each of these are pure genius, and his D-Day album was mesmerizingly beautiful and heartbreaking!!!!!
Last I looked, the first 2 songs of the BUSAN Yet to Come Concert are on the BANGTANTV channel (BTS official channel, whereas their MV's are all on HYBE Labels under BTS now). Those songs are "RUN BTS" and "MicDrop" - both high energy performances and the whole concert had a live band. This was the only time they ever performed "RUN BTS". They have another song called "RUN" which was 3rd song of the concert; however, the internet crashed on all platforms that were live streaming the concert, so that is not available to rewatch except fan cams or places that would copyright strike you. Also, it was a free concert. Anyway, you might be able to watch that part of it without Copyright and you'll see all 7 members in action (3 rappers, 4 vocalists). If you are more in to rap - the rap. line did an amazing part at that concert too - Cypher 3 and Ugh, but you'll likely have to view a fan cam for that.
You are close. AGUSTD is SUGA's alter ego for his mixtape releases early in his career and also when his solo project released prior to military. Before becoming a member of BTS, his underground rapper name was GLOSS.
Know this. We want to watch the subtitles. I couldn't see them on my screen. Were they at the very bottom of the screen? If so, they were cut off. Note: You will want to read the subtitles to know what he is singing about. They are usually available on all BTS content. You may have to turn them on.
yes ma'am will turn them on next time :) I was just an ignorant drummer that was just focused on the musicians and the rhythms cadences of his rapping rather than the actual meaning 🤣
8:10 No need to shout-out Hybe here. Hybe actually isn't even a label, it's an umbrella corporation that consists of multiple labels and entertainment/publishing companies. Bighit is BTS'/members label, but in terms of music this is all Yoongi. He was originally signed as a producer and is the producer, composer and songwriter of almost all of his solo music and has even been hired as a producer for other artists. Not only the music but he also develops the ideas for his MV and is, in general, a master storyteller in all aspects of his art.
An idea from ideagirl. I know I'm repeating myself from some of my comments below. But please consider watching an introduction to BTS before you watch Suga's documentary. It will help you put BTS in context to understand his documentary better. We feel you need to know him from his group perspective. This guide is highly recommended to all newbies. Its kind of long, but worth your deep dive into BTS and it's members. Watch "A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7" Enjoy.
thank you ideagirl, love your ideas so far...def will do, feel free to repeat yourself as many times as you'd like, I welcome army with open arms and appreciate the engagement regardless 🥰
Enjoyed the reaction. You should react to Daechwita mv. I think you may be surprised. It is now part of a trilogy: Daechwita, Haegeum & Amygdala MV. Be sure to put on sub titles, you will get more out of it and if not for you for Army. Suga/Agust D preformed them live in D Day concert. He is amazing. I did not even really like rap and Suga along with the rap line of BTS changed all that. The 7 members consist of 3 rappers and 4 vocals. Suga is more associated with BTS and then Agust D is the darker side, Both names created after joining with Big Hit, Min Yoongi actually had another name when part of the underground, before BTS. You watch the trilogy you will understand better. Also if you decide to continue down this rabbit hole of BTS and the members solo work you will need to watch Taylor Mari's A Guide to BTS: The Bangtan 7, she is an Army that complied a lot of info creatively done, more of their beginnings which is helpful to get a better understanding of the members. Then after that content their are several others to check out. On Mari's guide is 45 min, it will go quickly and very informative and Army will watch.
React to agust D haegum live mix stage from his concerts, link below Also the one having the idea since their beginning using traditional instruments it’s suga he is also a producer , he use them a lot even in BTS songs produced by him.
No, you're not correct. But as a new listener it's understandable! Min Yoongi, is Suga of BTS. His alter ago, as a solo artist, is Agust D. This is backwards for Daegu town, his hometowm, and Suga!!! You need to go to BigHit and get their official MVs. Daechwita is spectacular!! Haegeum is part 2 and Amygdala is part 3 of this trilogy!!!! The V song you should have listened to was the live performance of Stigma!!! This shows his range.
damn I just watched a couple seconds of that Stigma live and holy smokes I added that to my list immediately LMAO THANK YOU!!!!!! and thanks for the correction and sympathy for my newbie experience so far!!!!
@@DrumRoast I suggest you watch the introduction video by Taylor's Mari, A Guide to BTS: The Bangtan 7. Also watch their early dance practice videos instead of the MVs, as these do not show their choreography - We Are Bulletproof pt 2, Boy In Luv, and I Need U.
@@DrumRoast I also recommend the early harder edgier songs of their MVs - No More Dreams, Rise of Bangtan, NO, Dope, Danger, Baepsae, and Fire! Also, use subtitles, as BTS's songs and lyrics reflect social issues, injustice, mental health, and social stigmas!
Why did you punish yourself by watching all those pointless Kpop videos. BTS is in a completely different class. Many BTS fans (ARMY) are not interested in the other Kpop groups. Some are OK but many are dull and just embarrassing. There is a completely brilliant MV that Suga made at vast expense of Daechwita, not to be missed. I don't think there would be any copyright issues. Suga does what he wants to do regardless of Hybe. BTS are under Bighit. Watch BTS Tiny Desk Concert, filmed during the covid era, with a live band.

Ryuichi Sakamoto and Woo-sung from The Rose.
omg is there any good link of the concert with his live band??? THANK You so much for the info 🥰🥰🥰
(Suga aka Agust D meant the BTS ARMY to be implied.)
Agust D (feat.
THANK you Tifaa for the clarification!!!
@@DrumRoast
It's a question of which group/solist.
AgustD is his solo career name! He still uses it even still being Suga of BTS with the group.
👍👍👍
I experienced this live last year in Chicago and it was INCREDIBLE
🥰🥰🥰LUCKY
THANK You for the rec and lore!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Find the official Gala video recorded professionally!
thanks for the recs 🥰🥰🥰
@@DrumRoastYes. Both are incredible but More with the orchestra. Goosebumps!
Yes!!!!! I cannot stop watching the Gala performance. 🔥🔥🔥
if you like the whole group live with band I recommend PROOF live , it's from their YT channel so it should not be blocked, also the whole Dday Agust D concert is chef's kiss, with same band from here. basically this band had done performances with solo with Jimin and Jin solo performances.
yes proof was actually on my list already, freakin stoked for that!!!
All of these are from Bangtan TV channel sothey are ok to post.thank you for checking on them
BTS is just different. Extremely inventive. Solos are amazing. OT7 is amazing. Just all round...7 wonders.

I also suggeste you to watching the documentary he take us with him in the process of making the album and present us with a collection of live performances from the album And meeting with his idol the Famous Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto who inspired him to make music .
thanks for the suggestion!!!!
BTS always sing live, they use a backing track when also dancing…but they still sing live most of the song. In concerts Sugar will usually in a song stop singing for a few beats so all can hear NO backing tract.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
If you research what this song is about, you'll really be blown away by his songwriting...he's a genius!
Gloss Suga Agust D, I wonder if Army gives him any other names while we're at it 🤣
@ Hahaha...we give him lots of names, but those are all the names he's given himself 😉
Loved that you commented on his outfit. One of my all-time favorite looks on him.
I'm tryna cop these looks for myself in the future LOL ❤❤❤
BTS always has a live band at their concerts. Suga had a solo tour with a live band and I’m sure Jhope will too on his tour that starts Feb 28. Most of the solo member live performances also have live bands. FYI-They are NOT on “hiatus” (using the western definition which means a break-up), they are “On a break from group activities while they do their solo projects and military service”. They all
signed new contracts and each one has talked about how they can’t wait to be back together and perform together.
@ I know it and it's so so annoying.
Thank you for reacting to this. I can't believe I've never seen it. I love seeing the traditional instruments I'd only heard before.
So if you see on a track Produce at Genius lab you know it's a Suga (aka Agust is the producer)
BTS this is the first part of a triology of songs, this one his D2 album and the next 2 are on his D-Day album. eg Heageum and Armygadala.
he really is a Genius so a very fitting name :))), thanks for recs and info Eileen!!!!
Saw Suga aka AgustD in LA he was incredible so was his band Jin ended up using suga's band as well for his live and MV.
lucky, the closest thing I have rn is Hobi's concert in March :)))
@DrumRoast hoping for tickets in LA
BTS always sings live. Suga's band was brought together by him. Jin has also used the same band for his live performances.
thanks for the info 💛
This live is AMAZING... and the MV too
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I love that you chose this performance!
apparently not many have reacted to this performance specifically, I wasn't aware of that until after I posted it 🤣
The band was great, they were traveling with him on tour they did 28 stops (the right side, not the tradicional instrument)... So all clips from his solo concert are cool. They later worked with rest of BTS members too...
There is live performance of "Dynamite" that JK plays drums (and sings) when they perform it from 'Music on the mission'.
yayyy drummer content to react THANK YOU :))) that's a quite big tour, thanks for the insane lore 🥰🥰🥰
Daechwita. Phonetically
Didge uh tah. Enjoy.
thank you for the rec... sounds like a very epic documentary... it's on Disney plus so that's gonna be a epic weekend day for sure :)))
Up to you, you won’t be disappointed the Doc is excellent. Bless you on the sneeze 😅

Omg i love your reactions about Daechwita. SUGA IS the only Korean rapper to ever use the Korean traditional instrument into his rap music. I Suggest to check Haegeum live performance. He uses another Korean traditional instrument called matching the song Haegeum 😅 You will be amazed more .👍

yes on my list, excited :))))
Suga Band/Bangtan Band who went on tour with Suga are: Park Shin-won: Guitarist),Kim Jin-heon: Drums, Lee Yeon-jun: Bassist and Kim Chang-hyun: Keyboard. This band also did Jin's live performances, Jimin's live perfomances and will be going on tour with Jhope.
thank you for the credits!!!!! added :)))
I know someone recommended the bangtan 7 guide, but I think it's better to do boracity's guide first, it's shorter and more straight forward, it's the one armys are recommending more for first timers now.
thank you Army I have quite a bit of catching up to do...only 10 years worth 😂😂😂
Suga has said that his solo project name is said "like the month".
And his underground rapper name was Gloss.

@@DrumRoast Just ask, if there is anything, we know more about them than their mothers.
I used to say that as a joke byutthem second youngest of them admitted that we know them better than theirown mothers.
and it was also tested that we know them better than themselves ;D
there was BTS quiz that their staff made for them that had to answer about themselves and each other. (they also know each other like themselves! - they lived together about 10 years, some way longer.) And ARMY knew the answers, but they themselves could not remember everything :D
Thank you for reaction 💜.
thank you for watching 🥰🥰🥰
a lot of content was being released around this time, along with agust d's world tour so i feel like this set of documentary songs are often overlooked -- that being said, i think they are so freaking iconic, especially the live instruments and absence of backing track for yoongi ... he is phenomenal and his stage presence in LA was jaw-dropping ...
Yoongi has a bunch more of these songs so I'll probably react to more of them from the documentary, THANK YOU :)))
If you're going to watch Suga's Agust D's work, start with his first mixtape, 2016 Agust D. Then go to his second mixtape, 2020 D-2. Last is his first album in his Agust D trilogy, 2023 D-Day!!! Each of these are pure genius, and his D-Day album was mesmerizingly beautiful and heartbreaking!!!!!
thanks for the recs :)))
Thank you for your reaction , if you want you can react to JIN AND JIMIN of BTS they used the same band for their live

Bighit Music, I'm typing this out so my brain remembers this well, thank you for the correction 🥰🥰🥰
This is too big, recommend the boracity one
thank you ideagirl, love your ideas so far...def will do, feel free to repeat yourself as many times as you'd like, I welcome army with open arms and appreciate the engagement regardless 🥰
On Mari's guide is 45 min, it will go quickly and very informative and Army will watch.
that seems to be the main recommended documentary, thanks for the rec :)))

You definitely don't represent ARMY. It's one thing to say you love BTS and are not into K-pop (I am one of those) but it's another to completely disregard other groups' hardwork and belittle them.
