Thour Creem It has been closed a few years now.The reason is because the elevators are not updated so they deemed it unsafe, and unfortunately the manufacturer that built those elevators are not around anymore.
@@seanlewis1148 actually Intamin is still around and doing great as a company. It would just cost a lot to update those elevators and fix it up in general so Six Flags won’t be doing that for a while.
12yrs is a long time ago. If the Sky Tower was only closed for 1yr. That's a long time ago. It's the same thing if the Eiffel Towers weren't open at Kings Island or kings Dominion. Two Amusement Parks open except one of the Main Attractions?? Bruh, 12yrs is a LOOOOOOONNG TIME!!! Even I can't understand why the Sky Tower has been closed for such a LOOOOOOOOOONNG TIME. It would close on windy days in the past.
I wish it was still open. Hope they don't take it down.
