This midi guitar is a pain to play consistently on if its anything faster or basically different than Deadsy style stuff. So for now this is one of the cheaper options for to a Starlabs Ztar. I am interested in trying the Aeroband guitar that has tons of negative views on it but it has a sensor on it to do palm mutes and i really want to try it. because.. palm mutes are very difficult to do on midi guitar controllers. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Hey man! I got this guitar and am thrilled to let everyone know if they are like me, and want to use this with the MPC Live or MPC One in stand alone mode it works right out of the box!
My towns music shop didn’t have any midi to usb cables so I picked up the normal midi cable not expecting much, but got it home, and was happy to find its plug & play with all the new MPCs. I’m still gonna get a midi to usb since it will still unlock more features hooking it up to a PC, but if anyone’s like me, and wants the option to play midi instruments on a guitar like controller without a computer; well I can confirm it works in MPC which means it probably works with other stand alone groove boxes with midi.
I have a couple other groove boxes I can try it with. I’m gonna have to still get the midi to usb, and then a midi to 3.5mm jack, but I’ll be able to check how it works with an SP404, Korg Electribe, and Zoom Sampletrak at least.
Hey man just wondering just curious is it possible I could plug this into an amp and pedals as well and not just use original sounds built in
You can plug into an amp and pedals. You just have to use an adapter.
Also would you recommend this for a beat maker. I used to play in hardcore and punk bands, but now I have no interest in riding to shitholes in a van or being in a band so now I make lofi beats, but barely know how to play keyboard. Do you think this would be a nice fit for me?
Haha I am with you on that! Playing poorly promoted shows and playing in front of 20 people that's just the other bands... not for me. I get it. As far as beat making with it.. Yes, i would recommend yamaha ez-eg, and If you want to use your own guitar, check out the fishman triple play or a fishman triple play connect. I have a triple play, and it's super easy to turn your real guitar into a midi guitar synth.
@@Crazy.Beautiful Thanks man. I’ll definitely try that out too. I try to stay off of my computer while making music if I can help it so I was hoping that guitar would work with my MPC live, and or some of the midi keyboards that have midi through that I use with it. Although if I have to have the computer as like an interface that wouldn’t be too bad either.

So you can palm mute on this?
No, but kinda... it will trigger palm mutes if you just press the fret buttons or strum the strings very lightly depending on the VST guitar plugin settings for triggering palm mutes. Honestly, it is a pain to play "real guitar" it. Just wanted to show it can be done.
