I visited Paradise Island Boat Landing yesterday (watched your top 5 places video)! It was beautiful. I purchased a kayak in January & this was my Maiden voyage. Although I didn’t catch anything, it was a great trip. I fished across from docks on marsh side going left about a thousand yards or so. I ordered jigs last night off here & now looking at the Mulletron.
Don’t be too discouraged about not catching. This is a difficult time of year and I remember skunking all the time in Feb / March when I first started. Congrats on the maiden voyage, keep launching it and fishing, it won’t take long to build confidence. Beautiful river, enjoy!
Good to see you back in the grind and awesome to hear that you’re planning to make a video that covered what you did at the seminar. I wasn’t able to make it out then so I can’t wait when the video drops.
That means a lot! My life has been so busy lately so it’s been tough to get this video published. I didn’t spend too much time editing it but figured done is better than perfect. Glad it’s well received. It was a wild ride but overall fun day. This is going to be a great year inshore!
Great combination. I really didn’t need to adjust it and was fishing over shallow oyster all day and then grass toward the end and never got hung up. I’ve used plenty of belly weighted ewg hooks but the ZWG has those extra keepers that make it far superior imo
I’m in a 2017 hobie outback. The newer ones have more features but you can find deals on older like mine and save $$. Hobie mirage drive is great for the fluctuating shallows I fish and find it effortlessly to cruise all day hands free to make casts
Prefer to use artificial lures like in this video but when I want to use live I’ll throw a cast net to catch my own. I’ll purchase from Haddrells point tackle when I need to. I have several videos catching and using bait. Check out this one! th-cam.com/video/wJK7uZ3iFWo/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
@@CurrentAngling thanks man, we are camping the first week of June at buck hall and I noticed their is some artificial fill on the icw. Hopefully we can come across some and some reds lol.
Kinda embarrassing. Its 1/3 of brass curtain rod shoved into the hobie sailing mast hole with a phone tripod mount screwed into it. I usually use a swivel tripod head with a similar phone mount and add a rubber phone net for redundancy.

Your videos on inshore kayak fishing are the best. Thanks.

Where is your favorite place to buy live bait? Or do you catch it on your own and could you make a video about catching it. Thanks as always!

Awesome video bud, any pointers you can share on finding sharks teeth?
Look for black rocks ( phosphate nodules) often in the same layer of sediment as fossils. Also study this map…pubs.usgs.gov/of/2013/1030/
@@CurrentAngling thanks man, I appreciate the info. I’m going to definitely do more fossil hunting this year when we are down kayak fishing.
@carolinaguy5458 check out the AF (Artificial Fill) spots on that map. For example, all of Morris island is harbor dredge.

@carolinaguy5458 I haven’t searched there but I’m sure you can find em both! Sounds like a fun SC day!
Hey man where did you get that phone mount from.

what color were you using in the video? Smoky Shad or Bad Shad.
