"Tsuioku" is actually faster and sang by Yuko, but on this live they decided a different approach. The video is cut where an improvised instrumental leads smoothly to one of the best ballads ''Nijiro chouchou''. There is an upload with this intro. The original ''Tsuioku'' is played life, but YT doesn't let it stay uploaded. Machiya sometimes sings/lead sings on songs he wrote, like this one, ''Kyoushuu no sora"" (acoustic (2018) and non acoustic ver.) and ''Doppo"''(acoustic in its original and second ver. of acoustic where he sings) or when the original song is with a male vocal, like "Episode.0'' (there is a re-do where Machi duets with Asa (bass), but i prefer the ver. from 2017 with Yuko). Machiya is well established guitarist and producer, but he is a passionate vocalist too. In his previous band m:a.ture he is doing vocals and acoustic guitar. That's why he is duetting with Yuko sometimes. This year Yuko couldn't finish the tour due to pregnancy complications, so he (with Yuko on record) and Beni continued the tour as vocalists. If you don't know yet, Beni is also singing. She used to do minyo long time ago. I hope the last events leads to a duet between her and Yuko, it would be so interesting. We should be able to get that too.
While I love Yuko's voice, I enjoy hearing Machiya sing also. I am really hoping to have Asa as prominent vocalist on some Wagakki Band songs. And when you know a band can pull something like this out, when they are known for a bunch of banging songs, you can never be sure what they are going to do next. It keeps things fresh.
Machiya and the band had a few acoustic version of different songs, it is like a special edition in concerts, also a chance for others to take a rest, you can find a few of them like Doppo, Episode 0, Tsuioku, etc In fact others have already suggested
