JYP proposed this idea to KBS, and they found these 4 divas for him. It is a new concept, that's why it's has some kpop flavors in their performance, not just pure singing. JYP did mentioned his goal is to have them do a concert/concerts eventually, or even a small tour.
It was all his idea to recruited the legendary four singers and he directly called them, convinced them to participate in this project. JYP and the four artists have known each other for a long time in Korean entertainment industry
@@Cstumps I know why you're saying it's not live because she seemed very weak and non-emotional but some people can belt out their voices more subtly like that. Also, if you compare this with the recorded version, it's different. There's a bit more background reverb in her vocals in this one.

They are all famous divas from the 1970s to 1990s. Even the way they are pulling off the choreo while singing....experience really does count a lot when it comes to stage presence.

That's why, you can only 1-2 artist in every group being an all rounder. Because of the said reason, also people tend to overlook vocal nowadays and love unrealistic choreos.
They're doing the bare minimum of dancing though, is the bg dancers that are doing most of the scenery, which as you said, since they're great singers, is fine
The iconic "JYP" IS BACK! Well, WE SHOULD TALK ABT THIS GURLS INSTEAD! THEY HAVE INSANE VOCALS and they aren't your usual group since the are already in there 50s and STILL SLAY THE INDUSTRY. This is what you call a UNIQUE group that has talent!

It's quite strange that we only have a single group that can perform like this, 100% live (Mamamoo), and few singers like Ailee, Hyolyn, CL, AKMU, just to name a few, still do it without the playback of current groups such as IVE, Le Sserafim and New Jeans. The new generations of K-pop should be prepared to sing completely live on music programs.

I am here seated for Queen InSooni. Before Yoon Mirae and Lee Michelle, there was InSooni. 😭❤️ Each three of them are legends in their own right. With similar stories when it comes to discrimination for being half-black. All three are tremendously talented.
They're impressive! It really shows age doesn't matter when it comes to your passion and dreams. Their vocals are so powerful. We, at the ages of 20-25 act like old people 😂, while they, at the ages of 66, 58, and 57 prove that age is just a number. I wish to listen to more songs from them.❤
This is why there’s NO excuses for their juniors to lack so much in their vocal skills & range. They’re not being trained well and only so few of them actually put in work to improve vocally. Let these women and their healthy voices be a testament to how easy it is to use breath support and diction.
I clicked wondering who on earth would name a girl group "Golden Girls" and got a shock to see who were the members (maybe their group name should have just been Golden Legends lol). Made me think whether some time in the future we could have a 1st or 2nd gen supergroup like this when they themselves reach their "golden years". 😂

These ladies are known for their singing I don't think it's necessary for them to dance, their voices can be captivating enough, you go golden girls!
