    Who would dislike this?

      Have a look at my comment up there to learn why I disliked it. It's a scam, a clever marketing ploy to make it seem as though they care about disabled gamers when they are actually making it harder for us so that they can make a buck.

      # Capta
      Ok, this I don't understand. I work in Assistive Technology (AT) field, so let me put that out there for full disclosure, and I have nothing to do with the Xbox at all. Ok so assuming you have a disability you can use this controller for $100 plus switches and you can use the AT switches that work for you IE; ablenet, candy corn, head mouse, eye daze and so on. Any other controller is like $1000. So I am really asking you why you think this because I am trying to help people with disabilities.

    • @captapraelium1591

      I made another comment on this video which explains it in more depth, buit the short version is that if you're disabled and already have the ablenet, corn candy, eye daze etc and a USB interface that lets them work on your PC, it SHOULD work on xbox (xbox is just a windows PC under the hood) except they deliberately made it NOT work on xbox. So yeh $100 vs $1000 seems like a bargain until you realise that the REAL comparison is 0$ vs $100.

    The requirements section specifies that the Adaptive Controller will have limited use on Windows 7. What does it mean exactly? Any examples?

    Solomon! I got the Adaptive Controller for my Xbox Series X. On my Xbox, in Xbox Assist, I see that the “Logitech Extreme 3D Pro” works with the Adaptive Controller, so I assume that the joystick works with the Series X. But Xbox doesn’t see the joystick. Help!

    Does this still exist? Can I use it to make GTA the ultimate simulator, meaning can I plug in a steering wheel for when I drive, a joystick for flying, some sort of lever for boating and also a normal controller for running and shooting? And if this works, can I seamlessly switch as I switch between vehicles ?

    • @bafouilleux
      @bafouilleux 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In many different ways!You could have an analogue stick that
      can be controlled with only one foot or even with your mouth and a set
      of button with one hand. I think with a bit of imagination (but
      unfortunately some budget), you could game like anyone else! There's
      also a copilot mode, where you can share the actions needed with the
      controller with someone else.

      Maybe he has a disability? Like what kind of question is that...
      Maybe he has a racing cockpit sim, and he want's to use the external 3.5mm inputs to install a REAL functioning handbrake? Maybe he wants it for music production? Why does it matter?

    • @HatsuneTku
      @HatsuneTku 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because literally no games are supported on mac

    • @sn0fx
      @sn0fx 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mobile I loathe apple and one day your statement was true, but not today. Many games I regularly play have Mac clients. You're talking pre-x86, pre-intel Mac.
      My point was it doesn't even have to be for gaming, you can quite literally use it how you want it and it's fair to ask for Mac support.
      As edgy as you try to come off, it doesn't really help the discussion.

    • @HatsuneTku
      @HatsuneTku 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why would you buy a mac for gaming though? My steam library has 18 games supported on mac out of the 145 games I have. It isnt worth spending the $100 on the base controller alone, then spend at least an extra $100 on the needed extension to do things like that, when the game you want to use it for probably isnt even supported?

    So you have to spend a hundred dollars and it won't really work until you buy all the buttons and switches? Sounds incredibly expensive when a you add in ten accessory buttons/thumbsticks. I am one handed. I just need a controller with all buttons on the face and not where the triggers and bumbers are. This sounds a little heartbreaking.
