Pretty cool setup dad. When I was 14yo, my dad owned a used car business with a small junkyard and I raided the junked cars, taking lights and switches. Made my own Colonial Viper cockpit out of cardboard, and some colored semi-transparent plastic. A car battery let me put power to the lights, lots of black a d grey spray paint. Wish I had pictures of it.
The simplicity of that bed area looks how a designer of the future would have built one. Its even more impressive that though rough, it is 100% crisp and believable on camera. I “know”im seeing kids in a starship! That should be in a real show
I love this! My son wants his room to looks like a spaceship bunker. Do you think the materials you used would last for a while? Or would be easy to repair?
Very nice. I love the brutal honesty about the craftsmanship. "Don't let perfection be the enemy of good." - Brian from the Smugglers Room
Absolutely - just go for it and keep getting better!
coolest dad ever
You're too kind - thank you!

🙌 Thank you so much! We actually referenced a ton of those pod hotels when designing the look so can't take full credit for the design. Thank you!

It's impressive, I'm sure your childs where happy. For the LED brightness you can just use a 5K Ohms pot in series to dim it.
