The engin doesn't flood because the exhaust is constantly pushing air out, so water can't get in, unless it shuts off. The smoke is because of the radiator cooling down.
So many people talk about throttle out. Or it's the machine well really it's neither. It's the rider and if you throttle out in that kind of shit you will start blowing axles or diffs so before you go flap your gums why don't you go on a quad and experience it yourself. Plus the best part of what they are doing is having fun and that's all that counts when your with a good group.
Those machines are so strong but the drivers are so bad.... I could make it out of there with my honda rancher 350 ... These guys barely touch the throttle...
to a point. when it comes to chewing through thick nasty its about power and tires. but still you can get through a lot if you know how to ride no doubt about it
Grizzlys might not match the artic but they last for a long time. I still have my 2000 660 grizzly. 13 years later and drives like it did the first day I bought it. And I live in new Hampshire. So yes it is being road hard and put away wet so to speak.
power only matters in thick muskeg stuff when it comes to you havin thos big 30 inch tires.. you need the 800 or bigger to turn them.. where a 350 would have SO much trouble.. as long as a smaller cc bike can turn the tires it has.. and there big enough to grip the stuff there is and not get caught up.. right.. size of engine means shit
Do not get a Arctic cat! They cannot make a good reliable atv! Get a can-am renegade 1000 or the sportsman 1000 but trust me don't get a Arctic cat! Your getting basically a 400 when you buy the 1000!
That's not true. If it's not the machine, then why the hell don't you see and ktm's going through mud? Or how about an arctic cat 150 youth through that?
if i would have had my renegade there i could have showed you all up.....back up....puter in 4wd high gear....and hold er to the bar....and like magic your out of the mud hole....
I love how all these people 1 2 3 4...5 etc. weren't watching the video they were just looking at the comments say the grizzly is way better when arctic cat actually got out it's own and actually had to tow the grizzly out! Arctic Scrap < grizzly
Polaris is junk....there belts burn out all the time it has less horse power and clearance aswell as less CC'S. The problem with this was the tire size and it would've helped alot if he wasnt sitting on it when he was trying to get out.
Geoff McCluskey I wouldn't say Polaris is junk. Older models did have some issues with belts, but the newer models have lots of clearance, more HP, and no belt slipping problems. I'm a Honda and Can Am owner and would never just dismiss a Polaris. The new Scrambler is super fast, it normally stays right with my Renegade.
Grizz is one of the best built quads period ......Not the fastest not the most powerful but will take you in and bring you back,,
true stuff im on my 3rd one just bought a 2014 never a single problem had the 660's and now 700
The engin doesn't flood because the exhaust is constantly pushing air out, so water can't get in, unless it shuts off. The smoke is because of the radiator cooling down.
Man just put me on that grizzly already.
I had a mud pro and a grizzly but honestly the mud pro was better to me

"i think you are screwed eric" lost it at that point
got yourself some narsty black mud there. Those outlaws performed good. we got some of that mud popping through the swamps in NS here now.
Those machines are so strong but the drivers are so bad.... I could make it out of there with my honda rancher 350 ... These guys barely touch the throttle...
the water is probably cold as shit
Rancher 350......yeah right.
you are right the biggest things are how you ride and the tires on the atv
I love my Arctic Cats. And riding like this in the deep wet mud and snow.
to a point. when it comes to chewing through thick nasty its about power and tires. but still you can get through a lot if you know how to ride no doubt about it
How does the engine not flood when the exhaust goes under and what's with all the smoke comin out of the front end
Grizzlys might not match the artic but they last for a long time. I still have my 2000 660 grizzly. 13 years later and drives like it did the first day I bought it. And I live in new Hampshire. So yes it is being road hard and put away wet so to speak.
good stuff were was this?
thumbs up for both fourwheelers if you can ride (just ride)
That little tree mustve had some big ass roots...lol
the machine under you plays a BIG part though!
Low gear makes a big difference if you use it lol in high the hole time wondering why he can’t get no bottom end!
What kind of exhaust did the grizzly have
Exactly why I build my machines
i guess you didnt see the other 2 vids were the arctic cat broke its axles??
bit I been ridin these things longer than most y'all boys been alive combined.
What model grizzly is that
Great video guys looks like fun
@ozzy107 How do you figure? I do believe the cat pulled the grizzly out and the mudpro only had zillas if it had laws or backs its hard to touch them
You guys where taking it soft on those things. You should of gave it some throttle and you would have made it out fine.
power only matters in thick muskeg stuff when it comes to you havin thos big 30 inch tires.. you need the 800 or bigger to turn them.. where a 350 would have SO much trouble.. as long as a smaller cc bike can turn the tires it has.. and there big enough to grip the stuff there is and not get caught up.. right.. size of engine means shit
kapika00 you don’t need a 800 to turn 30 inch tires one of my friends had a 650 with 30 silverbacks with a clutch kit and turned them like any 800
Some people just don't know how to drive 'em
twist the throtle man
Laza ATC actually a push of a thumb lol
@@ronniesandoval5758 yea but push the lever with ur thumb doesn't roll of the tongue the same way
if I was Eric I'd say get that thang out my way and I'm a show ya what my Kodiak modded does without a winch...
where u in a bog in maine?
Cant wait until i get my mud pro 700 LTD!
I have a grizzly 700 thinking of getting a sportsman 1000 or a ac xt 1000

Driven Cats many thousands of miles with no breakdowns. The 700 like the MudPro is strong, all 1000's are strong, Cat has 70 hp.
I have the 700 cat no problems strong ATV
The guy on the grizz was scared of the thing he could have got out faster if gave er some gas
That ATV dude... not Military Tank... LOL Both are good, but I want Grizzly 450 coz of spare part reason.
love to join ya guys on a ride
whhy the fuck did you take the damn racks off the grizzly?
CanAm would have crawled right out of this shit
28" Outlaws
Cats are underpowered and way to heavy. Better to get a Can-am 800 with 72 HP or 1000 with 82 HP.
I have a can am outlander 1000 an that sob is a beast
sweet rides and sweet vid!!!!
That's not true. If it's not the machine, then why the hell don't you see and ktm's going through mud? Or how about an arctic cat 150 youth through that?
why the hell would you by a machine and be afraid of it
arctic cat is the way to go
All the grizzly has to do is back up but it in low and then punch it and he would’ve made it easily
love this persons videos

Lol that’s a twig
my 2013 grizzly in camo looks so much more bad ass
more like arctic crap
How so
I'll take the grizzly over artic scrap any day.
