check if you have selected any service while booking, I dont remember I think I paid for one service, uncheck any service you dont need and check accordingly.

college won't provide it . I am not sure of student travel, maybe you could just provide college letter that specifies end date of your course and mention you are waiting on results. check with college international office they might have some suggestions

I think you just need 3 mandatory documents i.e
1. Passport
2. Bank Statement
3. IRP CArd
Hotel booking is mandatory as far as I know. My friend received rejection. But yes, if you submitted theses three then people can try but I wont recommend looking at the rejection.
Hotel booking is not required, you just require sufficient funds in your bank which was mentioned.
