1:33 Sometimes when I'm in a superflat world messing around, i dig one block down and this plays because i'm at y=3 so it thinks i'm SUPER deep when in actuality i was on the surface

in "welcome to the nether" you can literally hear screaming of a child or young person. my theory on minecraft is that, the minecraft world is just so vast and huge that there are millions of other people but since the shear size of the minecraft world, most people go there whole lives without seeing other people, and thats why i believe servers are areas with large collections of people. but the caves however, the caves act as a bunch of tubes and spaghetti going throughout the whole minecraft world, all caves are connected and the rock that holds them together can bounce sound so perfectly that you can hear someones minecart crash from millions of millions of miles away. the nether goes the same way, those screams you hear in the crimson forest ambience are other people, again, millions of millions of miles away from an accident involving one of the common nether mobs. i feel like some other ambience can be explained by this.
to anyone with anxiety who watched to much of it and dissociated or panicked: its okay. nothing bad is happening. think about your favourite colour and favourite childhood movie
"The torture chamber" "Chains and stains" "A locked door" "Failed communication" "Lost" "Found" (All in the warped forest section near the end) Is there something we don't know about the warped forest considering the names of those ambiances and how much static there is?
7:10 "Discovery" It really is a good name for a sound like that, it really sounds like those dramatic gasps with zooming in in horror movies, and an "Unfortunate Discovery" In a hellhole like this should be something way worse than just one corpse with a knife on their back.
I love how minecraft's ambience noices, but also it's loneliness, gives the impression that you're not alone. That there's someone, or something out there that you don't know of.
the nicknames for the warped forest "Help" ambient category "Torture" That just makes me feel way more uneasy when going into a warped forest. especially "The Torture Chamber" makes it extremely disturbing now. (Also fun fact: the static sounds are probably endermen sounds. Because in mMinecraft Dungeons i think the enderman boss or whatever makes that static sound when he dies.
14:36 failed communication? Maybe there were other people trapped in the nether but ended up getting found by a giant beast which would explain “found” which has a low pitched laugh
3:20 when they played the Beneath ambience noise I literally put my feet on the same level as my body because it really felt like something was beneath me. Spooky
i really love how creppy minecraft can be. this game is usually calm, so its nice to hear these noises from time to time. it makes mining a little more interesting in the cave
10:08 Glowstone is sure shiny, isn't it? edit: why the hell are there likes on this? i watched an hour long undertale comic dub and got in the narrating mood and now 128 like? bruh why
Can’t believe nobody’s talking about the KNOCKING noises that play when underwater. I was playing the game recently with headphones on and heard one of the knocking sounds and had to give myself a few seconds to calm down
I heard an ambient I'd never heard before (unstable) freaked me out but what was the worst part was having to go through this entire video to try and find it. There's some terrifying stuff in here. XD
I’m hoping they add ambience for some of the other biomes some day. I imagine desert, mountain, swamp, jungle, etc sound effects would serve to make those locations feel both creepier and more alive.
Quite an intriguing concept, isn't it? The thought of something still living and dormant from thousands, millions, or billions of years ago, preserved and unable to move as it's trapped in hundreds or thousands of meters deep under our feet, waiting to be discovered? Nobody but itself knows what will happen when that day comes.
The fact that the file name is Radiation it’s most likely the case! It would be cool if the devs made it so you needed led lined suits to explore curtain areas without dying from radiation poisoning.
If you are saying that basalt deltas have extreme radiation and the fact that Steve can just go there without any effects of radiation, then Steve is a God at this point
Chills is probably the sound effect that gave me the most jump scares in my life 1:30 Oh, that's interesting! Explains why Minecraft stopped giving me heart attacks even when just wandering around
I think mojang should add ambience to overworld biomes. For example, mountains would have wind sounds, and some eagle screaming, swamps would have mosquitoes and frog sounds, forests and taigas should have leaves moving on wind etc. That would give more life to minecraft. If nether haves still ambience, why not the normal world?
The Warped Forests, Caves, and Soul Sand Valleys have the most eerie ambience and seem to be the most cursed places in the game. The ambience in each area seems to tell a story of something terrible that happened there.
Mojang should add numerous rare hostile cave mobs to the game without announcing them. And better yet, keep them unnamed
That would be terrifying...
imagine if the mob didn't attack and only showed up in your peripheral vision, so people didn't know if they were seeing things or not
@@enragedcow2856 better yet, start with those and slowly build up to hostile mobs.
That... would be cool as an optional, adjustable setting.
@@jasonalbert6251 A process caused or accelerated by deliberately trying to observe or seek them out.

Minecraft is a horror game, ESRB needs to add “Fear Themes” to the list now! It just gets scarier every update!
And the theories surrounding it just add to the darkness.
Funnily enough, my copy of Minecraft has fear on it.

I used to think Minecraft was diverging from the game I once loved, but watching this is reminding me that it’s just getting better, and a new adventure awaits no matter what.
Exactly. At least the updates bring additions rather than removing things! And if you don't like the update you can play older versions. Very nice.

Imagine exploring the nether and finding a small hut or base with a radio and finding iron gear on the floor with a piece of bread
in "welcome to the nether" you can literally hear screaming of a child or young person. my theory on minecraft is that, the minecraft world is just so vast and huge that there are millions of other people but since the shear size of the minecraft world, most people go there whole lives without seeing other people, and thats why i believe servers are areas with large collections of people. but the caves however, the caves act as a bunch of tubes and spaghetti going throughout the whole minecraft world, all caves are connected and the rock that holds them together can bounce sound so perfectly that you can hear someones minecart crash from millions of millions of miles away. the nether goes the same way, those screams you hear in the crimson forest ambience are other people, again, millions of millions of miles away from an accident involving one of the common nether mobs. i feel like some other ambience can be explained by this.

The sounds that play in the Nether’s Basalt Deltas sound like a Geiger counter. What if the Nether has extreme radiation?
The fact that the file name is Radiation it’s most likely the case! It would be cool if the devs made it so you needed led lined suits to explore curtain areas without dying from radiation poisoning.
I can see how that would work, similar to wearing gold around Piglins.
What is a geiger
@@JoshuaMemers you should play growtopia that game have geiger counter is like a radio call like a phone but can detect signal or radioactive

1:30 Oh, that's interesting!
Maybe at night, there would be scarier sounds, like bear roars, a twig breaking, or something falling and hitting the ground!
Can we appreciate how creative sound designer(s) who made these sounds is/are?
