    Bach or not Bach, apocryphal or not, this music touches the soul's strings. The minor key expresses a tender melancholy that stimulates inner meditation. The sad and moving, but beautiful melody, as well as the German words take us back to the time of Meister Eckhardt. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks for unloading this nice Cantata. I grew up with this version of Steintor Barock Bremen and Wolfgang Helbich.
    My uncle played one of the violins.
    I'm so thankful, please share more of this hearttouching music.

    This is supposedly by Johann Christoph Altnickol. It is certainly not by Bach.
