Nowadays if you ain't got a phone screen for a face they don't know wtf to do. Kids now are so warped by looking at a phone every 3 seconds they don't understand that it's a sign of respect and confidence in yourself. You learn alot about a man by looking him dead in his eyes when you're talking. Good, bad, lying, honesty, confidence. I'm 4th generation military veteran and the first/best advice my father gave me was look a man in his eye when you're talking to him and always give a firm handshake. First impressions are judged by things like that and I guarantee Mac would say he appreciates people looking at him when they talk to him.
Honestly your interviewing skills were absolutely excellent on this one. There were so many moments where you could’ve chimed in and shared your own similar experiences, but you just let the man speak for as long as he wanted. Liquido Suave yeah you can also be out in the yard or in a new jail without bars. In the uk there’s a thing called open jails too for people coming near the end of there sentance and have a history of good behaviour in prison

I wish Josh continued doing in person interviews like this one. I feel people kinda open up and discuss more topics throughly and with more details while in person other then over a zoom chat. Idk some people no matter what will open up about everything and anything they have gone through in life and some people just wont talk about specific topics/situations just bc they don't want to relive the experience or over all just don't want it public. I absolutely respect that decision to the fullest and ill listen either way lol.

I am extremely thankful to my parents because they taught me respect from toddlerhood on up... I am an Army Brat, my dad was a sergeant in the Army, who spent 2 tours in Vietnam. He taught/raised/trained us basically the way he did with the folks he was in vharge of and responsible for. My mom followed dad's lead with my brother and I! ... it is truly horrible that parents do not take the time or put in the effort to teach their children to be respectful, not only respectful of people, but also folks space, belongings. Many parents for whatever reason do not teach their children these and other extremely important life lessons so they are able to function properly in society when they become an adult! .. Then those who wasn't taught as a child, have to learn it most the time the hard way, like on the streets or they learn when they go to prison. It was so much better when parents actually parented their children from a very early age .. ya know before the government put their nose in families business!!

My uncle spent most of his adult life in and out (mostly in) state prison. He spent several,years in one of the most violent prisons in the country at the time. He was the most respectful talking person I knew.

AUDIO LEVEL TIP I notice your audio levels are rather low on your videos. when you finalize them it would be a good idea to raise the final volume levels. that way when a commercial comes up it wont blast hard because of having to raise the volume up from the low audio on the original video. cheers
