Perfect video, great subtitles. I really enjoy following your videos. Not a lot of chitchat. Perfect for someone who wants to get to the project. Thank you so much!
Such an excellent pattern. My friend's baby shower is this weekend and I needed quick and easy booties. These are really so sweet. I'm going to make your sweater next! Thanks for your clear and easy-to-follow instructions.

Thank you so much for this tutorial, I've tried a few different ones for baby booties, but this is by far the best, and so pretty, we have four beautiful grandsons and we're expecting our first granddaughter in a few weeks, and these are perfect. I have just finished the first one of these, and it's turned out perfect... will do the other one tomorrow, as it's gone midnight here (U.K.) so I'm off to bed, but once again, thank you ❤️
Thank you, thank you, thank you... 😀 I am a begginer in crocheting, but I have made all your booties that I have found on TH-cam. Lots of hugs from Hungary!
Hi! I hope someone can help. When you turn to work on the back of the first chain, to make the 7 hdc, do you make the first one on the same chain you finished the last row, or the next one?
oh and im sorry- also what should you do if you forget to put the stitch marker on the first backpost hdc row? i forgot to put it and i have finished the row and my yarn is abit different so i dont know where i started that row from..? what should i do?
Hi so for the bow is it supposed to be 4 more rows of dc from the initial one you show? I was counting your final one and you have 5 rows of dc from what it looks like
Love this design but every time i make these shoes i find its way too loose at the back. I find sc2tog at the start and end of 3rd n 2nd to last row and sc1tog at start and end of last row its all straight. Also i use a 2.5mm hook to fit a newborn. Im thinking of continuing sc all round for a few rows to make booties n increasing 2sts st the start of each row
Hi. You are so good at explaining it through the video and I made one too. Could you kindly let me know if I want a bigger one say for 1 year old baby how do I alter the pattern. Or what is the chain length that j start with . How does the calculation work? This pattern is so good. I wanna do for my 1 year old niece. Thanks a ton in advance 😊
Hi, Nancy! Thank you for your question. Yes, why not.:) But first, I would have to learn how to make one. I am usually using DK, Aran, or even higher yarn weight...working with a lace is probably a totally different story. :) 2017 will be fun and creative. I am planning to share a ton of new crochet tutorials and DIY projects. Hope you will like it! :)
Hi I used 3.5mm hook and a yarn of 3.5mm as well but it end up smaller than yours. only 8cm instead of 9.5cm. what is wrong here???? I followed another video on youtube but the final item is always smaller than it should be. I don't understand :( please tell me. thanks a lot
@@gonalvlogs6455 you probably made more than 1 BP hdc in each stitch accidentally that's why you have more stitches. You have to be careful and make sure that doesnt happen.
You can use any color/brand or type of yarn you want. But it's very important to use a yarn that is the same yarn weight as mine if you would like to achieve the same size of the shoe as I did. :) You can read more about yarn here: crobypatterns.com/crochet-lesson-2-yarn/
You can try with a larger crochet hook and a bit thicker yarn, or you can follow the pattern for 6 - 12 months that you can find in the PDF file and will tell you how to make a bit bigger baby booties using the same crochet hook and yarn weight. Happy crocheting! :) PDF pattern: goo.gl/qqAJuo
Dear croby pattern, ur tutorial are easy to follow, gorgeous..i remake it and turned so cuute.. would u pls make a tutorial for baby moccasins pls.. thankyou
I really love this and would love to make a pair for both my daughters they are 1 years old so their size is 3 can you please tell me how to make this shoe their size???
Haha same here. I made the second one using the written pattern n it was a size bigger than this (0-6m) and I had to push myself to make another 0-3months pair. So did u finally make it or no?
Can you write out all the bow steps so I can see it? I have "finished" making the bow and I don't have as many rows and the strings are on opposite sides. What is the row 2 that we are supposed to repeat? I repeated the DC 8.
There are two options: use a larger crochet hook and thicker yarn (no changes in the stitch count) or add one additional round to your sole. The second option will ask for changes in the pattern and a couple of additional decreases on the front of the shoe. 🙂
Hi! how do you crochet the other bootie?, this is my first attempt into baby shoes and I just don't know how to do the other bootie, the first one I made followed your video is really beautiful, so I'm guessing that to do the second one the instructions are slightly different? Or it the same exact steps for both of them and there's no such thing as left and right bootie?PLEASE HELP!!
You would need the same size of crochet hook, or size to obtain the gauge written in the written pattern. If you will use a larger/ smaller crochet hook, the final item will come out bigger/ smaller than measurements given in the pattern.
so I am on round two of the upper part I believe right after the row of sc and I have 44 stitches....I sc in the nxt 11 and so on just like you said and for some reason every time no matter how many times I start over I still end up with 4 xtra stitches plz help :/

How could i make this for a 6-9 month
Where did you get the yarn?
Another question can I use any type of yarn? Even the one that is for a 5mm hook?

What if I want to make a little bigger sole then mentioned here, please share what pattern i need to follow.
Thanks.
Just use a larger crochet hook, maybe 4.0 mm and a thicker yarn, maybe an Aran weight instead of DK weight. 😀 Good luck! 😊
It is very very very cute!!!!!!!! I like it!!
Thank you again for sharing your gorgeous booties I am a beginner and can follow you your are a great teacher
I LOVE these booties!!!
Hi, so I noticed that this tutorial was for the right foot, how would you change the pattern for a left foot? Are the soles in this video universal?
How many cm are these?
I really love this and would love to make a pair for both my daughters they are 1 years old so their size is 3 can you please tell me how to make this shoe their size???
Hi Blanca
I would use this video tutorial, but I would make them with a thicker yarn and larger crochet hook. :)
I cannot believe I was actually able to do this. It’s so cute and turned out perfectly. But I don’t feel like making the second one 😩😩😩
You can do it! 😀💪
Haha same here. I made the second one using the written pattern n it was a size bigger than this (0-6m) and I had to push myself to make another 0-3months pair. So did u finally make it or no?
I want to make same pattern for 2 -3 years old baby, can you please tell me about the pattern...!
thank you for the reply, I'm very grateful.
Gracias muy hermosos!!¡¡
I'm at 12:33 in the video. I made 44 sc. The video says to do ss next but I still have 4 more stitches until my place holder. help!
At the end of round 2 of the upper part, you should have 44 sts in total. It's the same number of sts as in one round before that one. :)
Can you write out all the bow steps so I can see it? I have "finished" making the bow and I don't have as many rows and the strings are on opposite sides. What is the row 2 that we are supposed to repeat? I repeated the DC 8.
Hi, how can we make this same shoe for 6-12month baby?
You can use a larger crochet hook and a tiny bit thicker yarn than recommended in the pattern and your baby booties will come out bigger. 😊
Hw to crochet it for 3 -6 mnths
I love this! How do I increase the size for 2 year old ?
There are two options: use a larger crochet hook and thicker yarn (no changes in the stitch count) or add one additional round to your sole. The second option will ask for changes in the pattern and a couple of additional decreases on the front of the shoe. 🙂

i am sooo happy with the result 🤗💕💜💕💜omg its soooo pretty
HELP!! Whenever I slip stitch the place becomes bending more and more to the left side, how do I keep it in straight line?? Please, somebody help.
Do you have to use a 3.5mm hook or can you use a 3.0mm hook or a 4.0mm hook

How many inches is the sole of the shoe and how will I know what size to make; I need to make a size 10 month
